Calamity Woods was with us for 9 years and double the amount of games and most certainly double the amount of fuck ups. I can`t remember the Gardiner fcuk up, but I certainly remember Woods gifting Rangers a late Scottish Cup equaliser at Fir Park, which took the tie back to Greyskull which they won. You don't need to be good to win a cup as both Aberdeen and St Mirren have proved. Seeing the draw only reinforces my belief that St.Mirren will go all the way. One of the OF won’t be in the Semis, Hearts and Hibs are already gone, ourselves or Aberdeen won’t be there and they have a perfect draw which they will almost certainly win, so that’s them in the Semis Finals. As for us, if we get past Aberdeen then that’s a tough one. We’ve fallen to Championship sides away from home twice in the past few years and Dunfermline will rightly fancy themselves in that tie with a big home crowd and Neil Lennon knows how to win big games. I think it’ll be academic anyway as I don’t think we’ll beat Aberdeen.

Two of my Favourite Stevie Woods efforts Playing at Home to Killie in a relegation battle . Their keeper boots it long, Phillibin (I think ) sees it going long leaves it for the Keeper Woods comes out the ball bounces between them goes over Stevie's head into the net. Another in our relegation struggles in the dying minutes, he goes to boot the ball long and belts it off Billy Dodds arse and the ball ends up in the net ... And the Rangers one is stuff of legend. MJC
I’ll never forgive Woods for that Rangers mistake. It was ridiculous and unavoidable at so many levels.

Also add the cup tie in 1995 when for first time in his career he raced off his line by about 20 yards and got chipped
weeyin
Every player makes mistakes. It's just that when you're a keeper, they lead to goals more often. When you're a Moult or a Higdon, your mistakes also cost goals at the other end, but people tend to forget those.

Coyne away in Dortmund is the sorest striker miss that immediately comes to mind.

An uncharacteristic miss from The Cobra. Gordons save from Moult in the 2017 League Cup Final is up there. Not really a miss as such, as it was good hit/save, but if it had gone in, it could well have changed the dynamic of that game.

Good job you're not our current manager who likes the environment to be a "safe space" (to use KBA's own words) where players aren't afraid to make mistakes. Aye , but higdon and moult didn't have the advantage of using their hands or not for stevie woods. Only goalie ive ever seen that played with his hands in his pockets. Useless prick.
