Quite rightly so, I can’t stand that type of cheating and I’m not going to say different because he’s a Motherwell player- if anything it makes it worse.

I would like to know how the ref arrived at the red card decision. He did not see the incident so did VAR team tell him it was red?  If they did I’d like to know why. From my view it didnt look like the guy touched him. So have the VARvteam seen something that we didn’t ??

I was talking the other day about my memory of the last time Motherwell were in a genuine title challenge in Tommy McLean's last season and it all coming to an anticlimactic end with a loss to Dundee Utd at FP.

I would hate for history to repeat itself. I wonder if the pressure will start to mount a little for the players as a title challenge becomes a possibility?

I think JBA will be managing the players to just focus on the moment and keep doing what they have been doing and results will be what they will be.

Wee Tommy was probably the most negative managers we’ve ever had. Our manager now has the polar opposite approach to games.

Of course it will but I think there is something about this group that every team I’ve watched in my time following Motherwell hasn’t had. And that is confidence and a desire to win “every” game.

Jens 100% thinks we can win the league. If he didnt he wouldnt have mentioned goal difference post match last night and referred to it as a good 4 points.

He wont say so publicly, and will keep batting the pressure away no matter how much the media try and draw him/us into it.

Legend.

I noticed that. It was a slip of the tongue but it absolutely gave away his thoughts on the matter.

He clearly believes that the teams above are there for the taking.

As you say. Legend!!!

Big difference this time, from what I remember, is that we spent a lot of time at the top of the league that season, so it felt like we threw it away at the end. I don't think anything else we do or don't do this season could make it feel like that.

Dare to dream.

We are the best footballing team in the league.
The other teams will drop points.
We may drop points  - but generally have the best form of any club.

It is of course a long shot ie 40/1 but not the 1000/1 when the league started.

Meanwhile Im happy to sit back and enjoy the show, it's been brilliant to watch, simply brilliant.

I don’t think it was a slip of the tongue, more a bit of mind games with any rangers, Celtic and hearts players watching the game, basically saying your goal difference has gone so it’s down to points  - watch yer arse’s we’re coming for you.

I still remember Utd scoring in injury time and the announcer giving the other results at fulltime - "And in the other Premier games where they played the regulation 90 minutes"

Fortunately, most young folk don't give a flying fruitbat about history 🤣!

I don't think Jens cares about previous PL seasons either and he  reckons we can do this (if we get a fair shake from the officials, which I admit is a bit of a stretch: the likes of arrogant  Beaton really get on my nazzums).

Having seen the confidence and commitment on display at St Mirren, which I thought was a real banana skin of a fixture, I think the players BELIEVE too.

Let's just enjoy the possibilities.......🙏🙏🙏
