Considering the number of players from all teams who have done this sort of thing prior to Slats incident.  He has taken a disproportionate amount of flak, especially considering that JBA is one of the few managers (only?) who has stood up and addressed the issue with his own player for all to see. We are done with it now so they can all go take a flying duck to themselves. I hope Slats plays a blinder and scores a hat trick …………. To match the one I hope JT scores !

as a point if interest, autocorrect changed flying duck to the phrase I was trying to avoid and I had to go back and manually correct it 😂

I wouldnt.

Much as I though his reaction to the incident was embarassing, did him and us no favours, I wouldnt give the St Mirren fans still greetin about it any encouragement!

He has had the waggy finger. Time for the arm round the shoulder. (And shove that new contract in front of him 😉)

Who are you dropping for Fadinger?

We have 11 games to play, 33 points all of them massive games, win them all and who knows where we will end up. We have missed two big opportunities for sucess so far this season, so lets hope we can be the best we can be in the run in and maybe it will be 3rd time lucky for the biggest prize of all, coyw.

There's no doubt in my mind if we won all 11 we would be Champions, however the chances of us winning all 11 games on the trot are almost impossible.

If I was dropping anyone it would be Priestman. He doesnt deserve to be dropped, but he is a huge asset to bring off the bench with 30 minutes to go. He is the most natural replacement for Watt, and protecting him after the 60 minute mark would be smart imho.

The alternative is go same again and bring Fadinger on after 60 minutes for either Watt or Slattery.

I think Fadinger has to start regardless of how well Priestman has played. Fadinger is different class and has had a break and is fresh. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t straight back in.
What a great selection to have though.

Presumably after all the Callum Slattery chat over the past week we won't see any playacting whatsoever in today's Premiership games?

Only over reacting we have seen since has come from martin o'neill 🤪🤪

Come on well, let's do this today

Playacting will be rife as it is every other week as will the other dark arts of wasting time, clipping ankles jersey pulling etc etc. ( I know that is exactly the point you are making).

I think the problem with Slattery's incident is that it was so blatant and so completely unnecessary on every possible level.

The biggest danger is that now Slattery is the boy that cried wolf so I would think Jim Goodwin will be telling his players that they have a couple of free hits on Slattery today should he play.

The refs are going to be very wary every time Slattery goes down. It was an unbelievably mindless thing to do last weekend and he has shot himself in the foot.

Going by statdium map, could be quite a healthy home crowd today.

Had a quick look 10 mins ago. If the Map is accurate and if my Windows scanner / calculator is correct we have seats left in

John Hunter Stand 144

Cooper Stand 183

Main Stand  335

3 x Home Stands Capacity 9242

Which means the home support will be 8580 , if its accurate that's an incredible home support.

Absolutely superb if that is accurate.

Only Hearts (3), Celtic (3), Killie (2), Falkirk (2).

After that we have never lost more than 1 goal in any league game.

Thats bonkers.

This is goals conceded in the last 10 league matches.

Motherwell - 3
Rangers - 8
Hearts - 10
Dundee - 11
Falkirk - 11
Hibs - 12
Celtic - 14
Dundee Utd - 17
Aberdeen - 18
ST Mirren - 20
Kilmarnock - 22
Livingston - 23

Celtic have actually conceded 2 or more goals in 6 out of the last 10.

I think Fadinger adds a little steel to the midfield that Watt and Priestman don’t offer.

Boss can do no wrong but to change a winning team is a hard call., wasn't sure of OP at first but think he's a cracking wee player now, very unlucky.

Let's not change the narrative here, Slattery was bang out of line and deserves the flak.

Hes a top player too but hopefully thinks twice before he does that again.

Don't mind the buying of soft fouls,  that's clever but last week was bang out of line, especially when we were cruising.
