Thanks - seems like the majority of experienced players are struggling but wasn't sure if some weren't playing as leaving.

All feels a bit discombobulated at the moment.

Aye.

Comms from the club havent been great during pre-season.

Of course some things need to be kept under wraps, like transfer negotiations etc, but simple things like who is fit and who isnt should be fairly straightforward.

Also with the World Cup and everything else going on, media focus is elsewhere.

Just away to Swansea for record fee according to the record.

Thats our creative spine gone, ie Watt Slattery and Just.

AJ is on a hiding to nothing. I feel sorry for him, as he will get the flack.

Whilst expected the clubs approach to this pre season has been niave and shocking. Nowhere near enough incomming players. Perhaps we have written europe off as there is no way our squad is big enough to deal with europe and league.

Money in bank is great, but we are back to stage 1 again, in having to rebuild and have at present a very weakened team that, looks at this point, will struggle at the bottom end of the league.

I was just gonna ask what the fans thought about that. Once Maswanhise goes the club could be sitting on between £10 to £14 million would the fans accept say £6 million being used to rebuild the main stand?

If we can buy the 2 houses at the south end, to enable a stand to be built full length, then get it done.

I absolutely would...making the club even stronger is what we should be looking at

We probably wouldnt need to, a new stand could be "tapered" into the corner similar to two stands at Easter Road and one at Rugby Park. Id make part of any plan to include a new roof on the Hunter Stand.

The POD is on life support now. Doing nothing or very little is simply not an option. The choice facing the board is to demolish and replace it or move to a new stadium. No easy decision.

That’s pretty much where I’m at. It’ll certainly remain that way without several more significant signings.

We need to spend large sums of money on infrastructure, but the team on the park badly needs reinforced and time is against us. We simply cannot afford to lose the momentum generated last season. The fans now need some good news for a change.

Doubt that would be feasible as it would block natural light to the houses already in place there and was AFAIR one of the reasons it wasn't completed like that in the past.

Jesus Christ I hope we have someone coming in next few days that looks creative cause we dont have nothing on that front.

Like a few folk said AJ is really up against it from the off he will get time from the board but due to last seasons exploits folk will be back to foaming at the mouths, hanging over the boards again.

We need bodies now and we need them pronto.

So far neither Just or Watt have gone to the OF. It really must be a copy and paste that goes on the front of every Scottish media transfer story.

I suspect that JT will not be Glasgow bound either.

I am still going £10 mill for Just. Smashed sounds like £5 mill  + £5 mill to me.

I think now would be a perfect time for the Chairman to address the fans and steady the good ship fanbase. No need for panic and no need to go into great detail but just a wee pep talk to sustain last season's momentum. We've heard plenty from departing players' agents and buying clubs about our players but nothing from our own club. Time for some leadership.

Loads of cash but no players.  I thought just could do better than Swansea but as long as money is good.

We need to realise AJ needs time

Pardon
