I think we would sell to anyone if the right offer came in. That includes from Scotland. If Rangers offered 2 or 3 million for Maswanhise would we really say no? Or 1.5m plus Miovski on loan?

I guess its good advice.

But when you have the chairman going public saying we wont sell all our good players at the one time, you kinda hold out hope that we wont lose everyone.

Losing Ward, Watt, Just & Slattery was tough enough in the one window. If we end up losing Longelo, Fadinger & Maswanhise as well, that will be really hard to take.

It could be worse, my English team could be Aston Villa, oh wait!

I think we would if the offer was right.

But neither Celtic nor Rangers view our players as being good value for what we are asking.

If they did, Jens would be Celtic manager, Just would be wearing the hoops and Watt would be turning out for Rangers.

Miovski hasn’t fitted in at Rangers and I don’t recall him being a player who works hard when his teams out of position - although I could be wrong - so Im not sure about him.

Apparently we teied to sign Levitt in Jan also.

Another midfielder, but doesn't necessarily mean Fadinger is outgoing.

It helps enhance the squad for load balancing, whether is be matchday rotation, or subs.

I hear what you're saying but if we stunt a players progress , they may down tools...faddy / manny dont seem that type to be fair. 

Don't keep that much of an eye on English game but ive heard villa have sold a whack of players....are they in financial trouble?

Yeah but if no bids in by tonight both the OF clubs know they can come in unopposed however unlikely, they'd still need to meet our valuation though.

Ive heard good things about him at hibs, utd...but he wasn't the toughest from memory...tbf I could be getting him mixed up with someone else.

We are in the position were we really dont need to sell anyone unless its ridiculous money so we hold all the cards.

Out of all the players really hope we keep hold of Longelo still have a year left plus club holds option of another year he is only going to get better.

Likewise Id hate to lose him but we've gotta be fair to the players too if they've performed and a big money bid comes in from a bigger club. Nature of the beast supporting s smaller club sadly. That said if no one wants our players we'd be Partick Thistle.

On the Longelo rumours front, Rangers have denied interest in signing him but another rumour has surfaced that Celtic are interested in him.

Unless he’s seeking a move, I hope the board reject any and all offers for him. We should absolutely not be selling our best players to any teams in Scotland.

For the 'Won't sell all our players', I think theres an assumed caveat that if we get silly money (Ie £7m for Just) we have to sell.

Similarly, we are incrementally replacing, and in some cases upgrading on positions we've sold.

You then have players agitating for moves.

Paulsen IMO seems an upgrade on Ward

Moormann is at least as good as Welsh (was on loan anyway).

Hodge seems an adequate replacement for Watt (Who was apparently set on moving).

I think the club justnmeant they wont throw the baby out with the bathwater and will suitably recruit.

Agree.  It’s too late to get a replacement in.  If teams want either faddy or longelo we will speak to you in January.  JBA did the same with Maswinhese last year and we fought off suitors.  
 

if a player downs tools then the run the risk of no one coming in for them at all.

 

i hope we can keep all three.  All three are brilliant. I just think Maswinhese needs some confidence and finally can play without that mask.

Be interesting to know how much we have spent so far as most undisclosed fees.  I reckon at least 1.5 million so good to see club investing it and using a chunk of money we have received. 

Time will tell but i think squad looking stronger than last season once everyone fit and I think we have brought in good quality judging by early signs

Don't think the new signing fits in with our style of signing this window. Perhaps there's an agreement that he changes his name to Dylan Dylan-Levitt, then he'd be fine.
