Back to winning ways, or draw? I think our team is tired the pace that they have been playing at has caught up with us.

2 week break to re-charge the batteries and think up new strategies.

Just and Maswanhise being away will hamper preparations and maybe rule them out of this one, depending on how much gametime they get and flights back.

Could do with Koutroumbis and Longelo being back.

Falkirk losing again today keeps them off our tails, but we could do with 3 points when we are off to Tynecastle before the split.

Thats what it looks like to me. Falkirk will change their approach and they might not win, but they'll be good enough to nullify us. We've taken one solitary point from them in 2 attempts and at the moment, we've gone off the boil.

Falkirk are a good, solid team and we will struggle to break them down again.
 

Our problem all season long is that we just aren’t strong or clinical enough up front when it really matters and that is why we were never seriously in contention for a top three finish. As someone highlighted in the match thread yesterday, our record against the top six sides is actually pretty poor. 2 wins in 13 albeit only 4 losses. As has been the case most of the season it’s the inability to turn draws into wins that has been our downfall. 
 

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if the end of the season sort of mirrors the start, with a lot more frustrating draws.

A fortnight off so time to recharge batteries.  Longelo will be back and I would start Big Thor and maybe have Maswanhise on bench as could be tired after internationals. Just could be tired also so a lot of thinking for JBA.  I wonder if Nicholson due a start

Was always more concerned about this one than I was about Hibs, so yesterday’s performance doesn’t bode well. Wouldn’t be too gutted with another draw, would be nice to start scoring again though.

If we're taking records against the top 6 into account, both Hibs and Falkirk have 2 wins, same as ourselves. All 7 Hibs defeats have come againt top 6 sides, while Falkirk have also lost 7 times against them.

I wouldn't count anything out before we reach the split. Desperate times throw up strange results, as Dundee, Killie and St Mirren have shown over the past couple of weeks.

rangers 3 draws

celtic lost 2 and 1 draw

motherwell lost 2 and 1 draw

hibs 3 draws and 1 loss

falkirk 3 losses and 1 draw

Will Manwhanise and Just be fit enough to start after their international travels? I can see this game being a repeat of last Saturday unless we can produce a rabbit out of the hat and surprise Falkirk with an unexpected game plan.

Looks like Maswanhise won’t be travelling. Quite pleased with that as if I were to pick one player who needs a rest it’s him. He’s looked knackered for weeks

Im going for a strong finish to the season  7 games left, so why not 7 wins and a 75 point total, and see what that gets us. No Alcohol was consumed before posting, coyw.

Given the league table at present, Falkirk will want to win and that puts pressure on them. They'll know that if they do what they did before, in our 2 previous games, that will probably be sufficient to earn them a draw. However that would come at the cost of deserting their normal game to nullify us.
