Motherwellfc1991
This is most money that has been spent on a squad in our history in a pre season and the most money we have in the bank in our history. The board have got the appointment wrong , the signings wrong and the manager in turn has got the tactics wrong and the balance wrong . The players can’t be changed until January , the board won’t sack themselves so sadly the manager needs to go and go tonight. Special mention though to a few players who you could wholeheartedly say have downed tools deliberately- 3 shockers in a row from the man who can do no wrong in the supporters eyes - disgraceful attitude on and off the park. Selling Watt and the keeper for below market value a massive mistake when replacing them with lacklustre rubbish

It’s time to go Alfred Johansson time I was going to say the same, but let's be real, been saying it the last few weeks and it's still not happened. Will still be here this time next week. You saw how poor the crowd was today, that isn’t going to improve anytime soon and WHEN we lose in Perth on Wednesday night we’ll be lucky to have 4000 at Fir Park next Saturday. Prestwickwell
Wanted to give him the next 2 but honestly think he’s miles out his depth cue the Michael Carrick’s looking for a job hilarity hope we’ve got a plan because if we’re doing it now’s the time to allow the manager to assess it before January
MJC
“Death by a thousand cuts” the longer we let him stay. This is not working and it’s not going to work. It was obvious it wasn’t going to work with Malpas, Baraclough, Hammell and latterly with Kettlewell. We’re just prolonging the agony and making it worse for ourselves the longer we persist with him. It’s over.

Anything less than 4 points though and he should be relieved of his duties. As you say, a new manager would need a couple of months before the window opens. As it stands, we're in freefall. Orinoco
He appears to be a good bloke but probably just a very good coach who lacks management skills. Rogers appears to be similar. So i hope if Alfred goes Rogers does not get promoted.

Honestly agreed with the 2 games but just can’t see him fixing it same mistakes again & again play 10 pretty passes at the back & then humph it out of play attacking wise we had moments in the 2nd half today but did anybody really see us scoring? Attacking recruitment has been shocking over the summer… what does it say when we’ve probably played better today missing certain starters as well

We have got some amount of wallopers in our support when things are not going well. Well said.😄👍

Mootherwell86
If I had been told before the game, we’d concede another soft goals and lost 2-0 then I’d have wanted AJ gone. However, it is undeniable that we played better today. It buys him the next 2 games for me. There is no doubt he needs to starting picking up points starting on Wednesday. 1
Lobey_Dosser
Today was also a strange one for me. I’ve not been keen on Alfred from the outset and I’ve felt a sacking has been inevitable since the Aberdeen capitulation and lack of response at Dens. Today however, I did see signs of encouragement in our play and there was little evidence of the rumoured unrest being reflected on the park. Encouraging signs need to be converted into points though, immediately. If we are 8 losses in a row this time next week, he’ll be gone. Over and above the managers’ suitability for the role, Kyrk and Caldwell must be questioning the summer recruitment. All three centre halves are significant downgrades on what we had before and the centre forward position remains unresolved.
