The amount of strips home/away/3rd/centenary we have had over the past few years is ridiculous…………is it part of our contract with Macron that a kit has a one season shelf life ????? 
Some of these kits have been very popular and have sold out (light blue away/ off white away) surely they both could have been used a second season

If the club were to  take a more active moral stance on sponsorship, it would raise some uncomfortable and difficult questions. As raised on P & B, in such a scenario, should it stop selling alcohol at Fir Park?  Its not ok to advertise alcohol but its ok to sell it??

Anyway as far as the new strip is concerned, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating as they say. Will it sell out?

It's just industry standard now.

Every team in the Premiership put out three new kits last season except for Livingston.  Hibs and Rangers put out 4.

And it's been that way for a while.

Celtic put out a change kit early last summer as their first released kit then only wore it once in January.

In the past they have released 3rd or 4th kits and never actually worn them in a game.

Everything in life these days is about extracting as much money from people as possible while wearing a 'we care' mask.  

It's the culture of the 21st century and goes way beyond football.

PROS.
1. It’s claret and amber.
2 It has a hoop
3. It’s got white shorts.
4. Compared to some clubs it’s seems sensibly priced.

CONS
1. Claret socks go better with white shorts.
2. It has way too much advertising - almost as much as a F1 driver’s outfit.
3. What is the tiger for?

Tbh couldnt care less about a sponser of gambling its everywhere you look,adverts at half time tv games on sky,i take it not many cancel their subscription,its a virtous thing for many but if you think its going to make someone gamble more i dont think so,i take it the lads from block e dont put a coupon on a saturday,whats next close mrs baileys and cooper suite  becausea big part of scotland drink to excess and that going to a game doesnt need alcohol to be consumed because we have idiots in our support that cant behave themselves because their full of the buckie.that badge on shorts will do feck all to someone with a problem,likewise with all forms of advertising of products when abused can cause harm,responsibilty comes from within and no amount of censorship restriction wil change that.

Apparently the ones on sale to the punters will only have the LiME logo on it. Pictures I've seen look ok

Think I’m in the minority…. I think it’s fine. Don’t like the tiger etc but what can you do… it’s us what it is.

certainly won’t be taking the moral high ground on who sponsors us.

It’s got a hoop and although it’s too fussy about the shoulders, if the punter’s version won’t have adverts apart from on the hoop, I’m happy. I like white shorts because the contrast with our two bright colours really makes the jersey stand out. The socks should probs have been claret, although the black with c@a turnovers we had a long while ago were really striking, imo, and it’s all about opinions. At least we avoided the jester’s outfit for another year.

You need to have mid range strips to appreciate the belters or some other nonsensical bollox, new strip is ok, not dreadful but not the untouchables kit.
