Happyhonest
This is maybe where our squad size is biting us. Midfield will no doubt be Priestman and Fadinger. Looked fatigued in the later parts of the hibs game. Meanwhile Helsinki have already played 18 games. Last five lost three won 2 and sit 4thin their league. Appreciate it’s a nice problem to have but hope the sports science guys are getting them ready for Thursday. looks like they use a 4 2 3 1 or 4 3 3. Though the game they lost there was a 4 4 2. Three in midfield then and use the extra energy of whyte. Said cook and longelo as a front three. Same 4 at the back.

grizzlyg
I wonder if another option for Thursday would be to play knight-lebel alongside moormann and play girdwood-reich in defensive midfield role

As far as I know, GR is a midfielder first and foremost.

Been impressed so far and I see st Louis paid $1.3 million for him 2 years ago. Be interesting to know how much we paid. Only
texanwellfan
Are we going to be brave and play our normal game to try and win or are we going to be more cautious to get them back to Fir Park? I wonder if our approach will be more about trying to “preserve” the squad rather than winning away from home or will we play our best 11 every game and deal with injuries/tiredness/suspensions as they affect us? While playing 2 games a week can be hard work, it’s also great for getting the players match sharpness up a few levels. I think the players can handle the schedule with rest and recovery as long as we can avoid injuries.

Not big changes but maybe start, booth, whyte.

Its three or four games into the season there is no need to rest players, the squad is thin enough just now, strongest possible team should be starting every game. Stuwell2
I’d think that the training regime at the moment would be focused on rest and recovery alongside tactics rather than full on heavy training sessions.

Details on club website I assume that will be available here in the USA as well since I watched the first leg against HB using solidsport. Was easy purchase and decent stream quality
