Maybe the fans need to single him out for some vocal support, after all we are also called supporters, are we not? The boy is obviously frustrated and he struggled secomd half tonight but I can see his game heading in the right direction, overall.  He just needs to relax and play and his performances will get back to the level they were. Add in a bit of morale support from the fans to help him and he will get there.

Good point pal, something I always try to encourage for players that are struggling,  poor Willy being the main one.  I notice after game that Alfred said he brought on 5 quality subs,  winder if in part said to give willy a boost.

Bench looking strong though when you consider williams, rcc and said didnt even feature. Happy Days

Tawanda is getting some amount of stick on here. That’s 4 games into the SPL season. 1 goal and 2 assists. He is not a natural goal scorer, never was and is now back in his best position on the wing. He has also been wearing an awkward face mask. I think give him a chance to get back to his best.

Exactly my thoughts. He is still working his socks off imo and very fine lines between being frustrated with him and his moves coming off. He could quite easily be on another 2/3 or 4 goals for season. I know it's a forum but criticisms of some players starts far too early. Hodge was getting it on Sunday as well which again I thought was not right.

We are building again a team which hopefully will be similar to last tears and let's enjoy it.

We will lose along the way but instant criticism of our own team is not a good look.

Or a kick up the arse. Walked straight down the tunnel when whole team were smiling and clapping the fans.

No wonder he didn't get a move with performances like that one tonight.

It might be controversial but does he really need to go and clap the fans every 5 mins? I thought he was really good last night. Worked very hard and assisted 2 goals. If he turns up does his job and then wants to get ready to go home is that a major issue?

Also when it gets weird and folk start going personal on the guy based on one persons interaction with him.

Noticed on Instagram post from club at end of game when players applauding fans Alfred putting his arm round Vogt.  Poor lad just looks devoid of confidence.    Hope he can turn it round, there are glimpses there but when confidence low its hard.

Confidence and ability go hand in hand you wont have one without the other, so maybe Vogt is not as good as we hoped he would be.

Ive not seen anything from him so far in albeit limited game time to convince me. Otherwise, he never seems to read the game well and be where the action is,.

I hope he does come good but at the moment he has the look of a certain Australian team mate about him, and for the sake of clarity its not Priestman or Jonny K

I noticed that last night , he looked like he was trying to lift his spirits.

Think he’s still got the potential to be a decent player for us but don’t think any club will see the form he had 1st 6 months of last season

Thought he was decent enough last night & yeah got the assists.

still giving the ball away to cheaply for me, st Mirren goal ( 2nd? ) & last night when United broke & hit the post

got a feeling he’ll move on today
