If common sense had prevailed then it would be being played at 3pm today. It was a nonsense that we postponed it this weekend in favour of ‘Europe’.

numpty started following Motherwell v Aberdeen
-
There's not much else they could have done. We don't have any available Friday nights or weekend dates to move it to.
-
I really don’t think they give a flying fruit bat in general for the ordinary fans so I’m not really surprised, sadly.
-
This fixture understandably has had to be rescheduled however the revised date of Tuesday 15th September with a 7.45pm kick-off makes me wonder if our football officials are trying to destroy our game. It will be a round trip of nearly 6 hours for Aberdeen fans who choose to come down for the match. To arrive in time for kick-off, they’d have to leave around 3-4pm and wouldn’t get home until well after midnight. Now I know it’s not easy to fit-in rearranged fixtures, but would it not have been better to have arranged this game for say a Friday night? This might just as easily have been an away game for us so I’d be interested to know what others think.

I'll give Willy patience and time to come good but on first impression he's no Don Goodman.
-
You got that one right 🤣

Spot on. Footballers in general have very well developed thigh and calf muscles but not all of them have a good upper body strength - the central core. I’m not suggesting that players get ripped and have six-packs but they do need to do some serious gym work to build-up their core and upper body strength.
-
Toulouse beaten 2-0 at home by Lyon tonight in their opening fixture. That Askou didn’t know how lucky he was at the ‘Well. they did play reasonably well right enough by all accounts.
-
My mates at every home game have head in hands muttering FFS. Due to me cracking another joke 🤣🤣
-
Nobody will convince me Vogt is a player, out of all players mentioned above, Higdon, moult, Cowan etc etc ….. they’d all proved themselves prior to coming to us. I’d never boo any of our players though, absolutely never. I will however put my head in my hands and say nothing or mutter quietly to myself “for fks sake”!!! I would love it if he proved my initial take as wrong but I do see Willy moving on loan as soon as we get players back fit or another attacking player is added. and I think the players don’t rate him either…. The general looks and moaning at him when he’s on doesn’t fill me with our players having much confidence in him.
-
For Vogt I really hope the fans don't start getting on his back as that doesn't solve anything. If we get right behind him then hopefully the confidence builds though granted he needs to be showing us more. I hated the abuse SOD got a few years back from some and now look at him, he's that confident he has a new floppy hairdo! 🤣🤣 So remember Vogt is wearing the well top so he is.........Oor Willy.....Your Willy.....Abody's Willy 😁😁 COYW

Our defense looking pretty good, our midfield looking pretty good, surely we can get one or two of the forwards on our books to start scoring? AP, Hendry, Thor, JT, RCC, new guy.
-
He wasn't in the squad last week, so I thought maybe he was injured. He had worked his way back into first team contention last season after yet another injury spell. I'd be worried he'd not be able to stay fit in the high press, high tempo game we want to play now. That's what finished him off at Celtic - losing his place through injury when they played a similar style, and never managing to reclaim it.
-
Even if we can pay a portion of his weekly earnings (a small portion) it should benefit him and also back in the Scotland shop window with the new manager. I’m sure he’s still only 25/26? as mentioned though, being injured so often has stalled his career. We don’t need another one in the treatment table.
-
I’m sure he’s on his last 12 months of contract - A cheeky loan spell to get him back in the shop window . the only risk is another player who likes to see the the physio
-
I think turnbull has always wanted to return to us at some point. I think wages would be main issue. I am actually surprised that hearts or hibs haven't made an approach
-
I see Turnbull on the bench again today, didn’t come on as a sub last week either. Cardiff have bought a new midfielder for millions who plays in the same position. And he’s only had a few mins throughout pre season games. obviously we can’t buy him or afford his wages but surely a loan wouldn’t be out the question? Could be that midfielder to get us goals and create a bit in the final third.
-
The goal v hibs and goal on Thursday? If that's not playing out from the back, what is? I think , even with Slatts,Just and Watt, we would have lost on Thursday. You got to have the ball to keep it , Freiburg just different level.

Has anyone seen information about where the TV coverage of the away leg will be?
-
He has the look of another stamatelopolous about him, from the game time hes had he never seems to be where he should be, a rabbit in the headlights at times. I agree its a bit too soon to judge him, but the early signs are not encouraging.

I Know for a fact that that you are not the only one that has contacted the WS. All very 'Pass the buck', sadly. Gives the impression they don't want to rock the boat by themselves raising the issue on behalf of Members.

Vogt was a tough watch at Ochilview but there has been enough to suggest that his raw attributes could be developed and used to good effect out wide. I think he may benefit from having the likes of SoDs playing behind him and talking him through the game. More often than not, pace will cause damage in this league and he has it in abundance. The positional sense and knowing when to press will hopefully come over the next few months.
-
This. I've seen flashes of real class from him and am confident that he has ability. Whether or not he comes good only time will tell. Perhaps, given his background, he's just taking time to settle. Just to be clear he was a "JBA" signing.

I received an email from the Society to say that they had passed on my complaint to Brian Caldwell.
