  1. Past hour
  2. No mugs just thugs as usual they will try and kick us off the park.
  3. Today
  4. Indeed, I get no satisfaction whatsoever seeing other provincial clubs doing well, it just annoys me that it isn’t us. On a completely different note, should we manage to win the league cup (a very, very tall order I know) we can do so in the knowledge that we don’t get European qualification as a result. For me personally and from what I’ve seen from your posts that is a big positive! We win a big shiny domestic trophy and we are spared the embarrassment/damp squib that the European ‘award’ would inevitably bring. Happy days eh! 🏆
  5. I think that's when he was suspended. I'm sure there were other stories that came out later too.
  6. I didn't know that he was suspended by the sfa. But I seem to remember some kind of bribery accusations involving an Italian team , but I might be wrong.
  7. Just can't see who "liked" posts on this thread...float mouse over and I think it used to tell you? Doesn't seem to any more...anyone else see this?
  8. Mair like glass half fool thread ? 🙄
  9. When the 1970's version of the SFA suspends you for improper behaviour, like they did with Gordon, you must have been really corrupt.
  10. The other take from the posts above are that whichever team starts we have very decent players on the bench to sub on and maintain the level of performance. I think Said is benefitting greatly from all the playing time he is getting at the moment and might even retain his inclusion in starting line ups.
  11. Totally agree. we played Rangers of the pitch in the first half, and the Rangers players had a word with that excuse for an unbiased referee and he gave them a ridiculous penalty, with Derek Johnstone running away from the goals, went down without being touched. Total fix.
  12. You don’t think? I’m certain they don’t. All they get to do is offer opinions. The rest of your view makes sense, but I still stand by my view on managerial bollocks.
  13. Yup lots of competition for places which is always a good thing. Koutrombis started well but he now needs to earn his place back as SOD has upped his game and been really good so far.
  14. I don't think that fans get to make those decisions. Without knowing anything about Udinese or their manager, I'll assume that they have their own way of playing and that they have a specific role in mind for Miller, which may be different to what he is used to, so he'll need time to learn that. He'll also need to learn how to communicate effectively, so hopefully he's getting paid enough to afford a private Italian tutor for a couple of hours a day. He was also injured and needs to get his match fitness back, so there are a variety of factors that may be limiting his game-time.
  15. I think it says something about the strength of squad at the minute that even after the levels of his performance against Hearts, Just doesn't automatically walk back into the team for Saturday if he’s available. Doesn't feel at the moment that we need to take too many risks by rushing players back. Same will apply to McGinn and Hendry (and Slattery in a couple of weeks)... As to how we'll go this Saturday? In this situation with two non Old Firm teams playing each other two weeks in a row, you generally say one team doesn't win both. I'm not so sure. The aforementioned potential return of Just, Hendry and McGinn will keep the players on the pitch from relaxing too much...
  16. From The Scotsman: You can see the latter effort at 6:45 here.
  17. I thought Hearts and Aberdeen fully tested our new expansive, attractive game and we came out with a draw and a win. I hope that on Sat we will continue on our improvement and come away with a solid victory. COYW
  18. A win on Saturday would be massive for the teams confidence 3 points could see us up to 3rd depending on other results.
  19. We certainly won’t fear them. We controlled large chunks of the game up north. Thelin looked a bit shell shocked in the interviews after the match. No doubt freaking out that he has us again next week and defeat will probably lose him his job.
  20. Will help a lot if we are back to full strength for the semi. If we do make it to the final, I hope it is versus Rangers so that Welsh can play.
  21. I don’t give a feck if LM’s new manager and club throw him in the deep end or easing him in gently cause he’s now an ex player and I believe that he’ll take whatever happens in his stride and that in the next few years he’ll be playing in a top European league with a top team.
  22. Yesterday
  23. A good draw for us as its its a tough but winnable tie. Given that the gate receipts are shared, I doubt if the draw will make much difference. Had Sevco and Celtic been kept apart, neither tie would have been anywhere near a sell out. As it is, the OF game will be a guaranteed sell out. Almost certainly, the Police will allocate us the east side of the stadium. Anything else would be ridiculous.
  24. Diddy's United v The Ugly Sisters. Its the rules. I look forward to St Mirren fans supporting us against whoever we get in the final! 😉
  25. Completely agree imagine if St Mirren win 2 major trophies in the last 15 years No way would I want that. A team we wouldn't have seen in our way over the last 30 years. Ours will be a real hard tie to win St Mirren are no mugs
  26. I met Robbie Neilsons mum and dad on the bus way back into Aberdeen from the game. They were honestly super lovely and happy that we won. (they weren't at the game), just there for the weekend
