Well, wasn't that enjoyable. Flowing football, a load of chances created, comfortable at the back. The best performance for a while. We didn't win, but with that level of performance, wins will come. I am very happy to see some entertainment return to Fir Park. I've seen a few having a go at Efford today. I thought he had a decent game today, carrying on from midweek. I remember Chris Humphrey couldn't find a final ball when he first arrived, but he developed that aspect of his game while at Fir Park. I expect that Efford will be getting coaching on that aspect of his game. He is already vastly improved from the player that we saw last season. Indeed, many of the team that I thought were really poor technically have shown that they really do have the capability to be good players at this level. They will hopefully continue to improve over the season, and with that so should the results. I am optimistic for the season ahead. I certainly wouldn't have said that after Sligo.3 points

So as well as talking shite, you are now an authority on mental health and making up blatant shite about how KVV feels, as if the guy did not have enough problems, without dickheads like you analysing him, you really need to have a look at yourself.3 points

KVVs issues were with gambling. I think you are trying to find a problem that doesnt exist. He has missed plenty of chances prior to Moults arrival and will no doubt continue to do so. The only one I would criticise him today for is the penalty miss.3 points

I don't think there is a Motherwell fan alive that doesn't want this to work. This guy has genuine feelings for the club and that's so very rare especially for someone not brought up following the club. I don't think its a risk , it either works or it doesn't. If it doesn't work its not going to have any lasting effect on us. If it does work out what a striking partnership we potentially have. What I would give for him to score the wining goal against this mob tomorrow. Even better if TW is trudging off with his face up his arse. Being Motherwell its unlikely to pan out like that. Tomorrow will have special atmosphere and we so so often kill that with a honking result or performance.... Please just this once let the hype , the occasion and the result all go together.3 points

Listening to Hammell talk gives me a lot of confidence. None of the usual tropes and generalisations. Open and honest assessment of what worked, what didnt and where we need to improve, mixed with a clear desire to play entertaining football and give the players freedom within the set up to go and express themselves. Its no surprise both the players and the fans feel happier.......2 points

Van Veen's bottle crashed just seeing Moult on Twitter. What he's going to be like when he sees him on the bench with the fans singing for him? The front four owe the back 6 an apology.2 points

Disappointed we only tied and that KVV missed so many chances but keep creating the chances and the goals will come. I think it’s very promising how many good chances we created from open play. Probably created more in todays game than in the last year under GA. I think Effords is contributing more going down the right hand side and will hopefully keep improving and add in some goals. Wouldn’t surprise me if KVV manages another few hat tricks over the season. Not his best day today but other days he will score most of them.1 point

Let me take us all back to The Days of Sinjy (aka Ian St John) via my brother. Ian could miss a chance or two from a few yards and then score a hat trick in no time. Forget about the misses and think of the chances created. Van Veen will (just) score more than he will miss over a long season. Is it all just a false memory or do I remember Andy Harrow and Andy Walker as our striking partnership? Gruesome at times but we grew from there. At least growth under Stevie Hammell looks like a philosophy we can embrace.1 point

You would have loved the John Reilly and Mike Larnach seasons. And Steve McLelland before we moved him into defence. Sounds like you missed all the Jordan White and Curtis Main games though.1 point

He always looked like a capable striker……when he played against us for Partick Thistle.1 point

For the first time in a few years it feels like we have a plan and are moving forward . results will always be important but so is entertainment and for the first time in a long time that’s evident . the current direction of travel is warmly welcomed .1 point

Efford sadly to say is not good enough properly poor. Can't really fault KVV when you are the only real goal threat from the forward line it's tough shift doesn't take a team long to work that one out.Hope we go 4 4 2 KVV and Moult,Aaron's and McKinstry on the wings. Slattery needs behave himself 3 yellow cards already this season two back to back now. We are progressing onwards and upwards!1 point

It was a pish penalty. No power, comfortable height and nowhere near the corner.1 point

If KVV took all of his chances he wouldn’t be playing for us. If he takes 1 and we win I’ll be happy.1 point

Apart from being out for a few weeks suffering from vertigo earlier in the year it looks like he has made the burton squad on most occasions this calander year and the 6 games they have played this season,so i would take a guess that he's done a decent pre-season,so his fitness levels might b pretty good,he just happens to be in a shit team that create very little for there strikersi, think it'll be very different with us with the chances we've created and missed louis may be the very man to finish them off..heres hoping it all goes to plan1 point

Never bring old players back. Moult played 10 games last season and now injury prone. He has an on going knee issue that has plagued him for the last 4 years. His last spell on the sidelines lasted 18months. He has no chance of playing tomorrow.1 point

He's spoke about his mental issues before and Moult coming in puts pressure on him and knocked him off being the social media darling right after his hat trick. He didn't have just have a bad today he missed 4 stick on chances and 3 good chances. I've never seen a striker miss so many in 30 years of going to Fir Park.0 points

This mob have lost 26 goals in 7 games and we’re contriving to make their defence look like it’s from Serie A.0 points
