Unfashionable as it might be, I'm going for O'Donnell. Set up a goal, prevented one with his defensive header in the six yard box late in the second half, set up Spittal's chance in the first half. I've been a huge critic of his in the past, and this is not me saying give him a new contract. But give him credit where it's due, he was good tonight...3 points

Said it a couple of times, but Spittal has to have a small chance of making a Scotland squad soon.2 points

This is becoming harder for you to sell with each passing week wellfan. 3 points off top six with a better goal difference than the teams around us suggests that the board got it right to stick with him. Changing the manager has not really worked for RC, St Johnstone or Aberdeen. Maybe you need to drop this now? Great result tonight after a strong performance at the weekend. It is all heading in the right direction.2 points

No offence to KVV but getting Vale instead of him has been a better move for us2 points

Must say Vale has had a bigger impact on SPL than KVV so far . proving to be a very decent addition p2 points

Spittal. Our most important player. Let's hope we dig deep to keep him.2 points

I know. And it's the inaction of the Board that''ll see us at risk of going down. He should've been out the door at the start of November.2 points

We're 3rd (joint) highest scorers in the league. That's not the root of our problems.2 points

Not corporate finance at its highest level. Business qualification before retirement 20+years ago Admin and Statistics in Manufacturing. Shop Floor to end customer at the lowest economic cost to all involved in the supply chain and other major projects. Quite proud in my day to be called the "Gatekeeper" Continued to use these skills with the voluntary organisation including the much maligned on here Bowling Club. Wasn't my plan to take the impetus just preparing myself with as many facts as I could use to make a decision on how to vote on the future of a Club I have supported for 70+ years.2 points

And there is a 2 week gap after the rangers game, so we can give it 100% at Ibrox knowing we have a good recovery period before our next game and then it’s a week between games up to the split. So we shouldn’t be seeing any tired players as we push for a top six place edit: and actually a two week gap between our home games v Aberdeen and then St Mirren1 point

Just as an aside. Interesting to see the Hibs Investment. Foley invests £6m, gets 25% share, Gordon family was 67% now 60%. Assume Fans share was 17.5% now I guess 15%. This kind a deal I cold live with if the WS Board is unsuccessful.1 point

Whichever way you frame it, 6 wins in 28 and 2 early cup exits is a poor return for any manager. He likely wouldn't be here now if it hadn't been for his secret extension. We'd also be worse off in the league if it weren't for those around us being equally rotten at times, but they won't always be. So no, I won't drop it because I don't want someone with that record at my club long-term. If you do, fine. And yes, it was a great result tonight in the end. It was a game of two very different halves.1 point

You better be fucking off somewhere nice when we're are Ibrox on saturday 😂.1 point

Only 3 points off of a top 6 position ? Oh my goodness me Edit, Just noticed we have Rangers on Saturday 💔1 point

I stand corrected, 6 wins from 28 now Crucial 3 points tonight , that’s a relief after going 1-0 down1 point

Well done Motherwell. Vital 3 points. Takes a bit of pressure off.1 point

That’s a potentially season defining result. It looked bleak at half time with the same old story but we grew into it and deservedly won. Again Blair Spittal shows that he is absolutely crucial to us and hopefully we can get him on an extended deal asap.1 point

Miles better 2nd half.....let's all enjoy our night. Great result1 point

We needed a reaction at half time and we got it,fair play to the manager and players for that second half, that's a huge win for us.1 point

Proud of the lads . First time I've seen well win on sky for years. My comment about taking Nicholson off didn't age well lol 😂1 point

Pleased for the team and ketts, the vultures would've been out tonight if that hadn't turned, you could see in spells in first half we had the beating of them1 point

If Gent has a half in him, hook O'Donnell and switch Devine. Wish I had a few halfs in me.1 point

Thanks for the helpful post. Very eye-opening. I'd say there has to be action on the 1600 not contributing by monthly DD before asking the 1500 with a monthly DD to contribute more.1 point

The ridiculous glare coming from that wet plastic shite makes this game difficult to follow on the TV. No wonder Scottish football is laughed at.1 point

Don't try turning this into a sensible line up made by someone who knows more than we do. The 'fans' need something to greet about.1 point

I thought so too. Was initially starting for Stirling Albion but has been getting minutes as a sub recently. May as well do that for us. Be good to see another youngster develop and cone through the ranks.1 point

We always park at Geddes House, Quarrywood Court, Livingston Village, EH54 6GU, take Junction 3A on the M8 and follow signs for Livingston Village, 5-10 minute walk to the stadium, and easy access back to the M8 especially after the game with little traffic.1 point
