This game give me the fear....
1. We are playing great stuff
2. We need a win to round off all the positives
3. We have been getting unprecedented good comment from the media
4. We will probably get a bigger than normal home support.
5. Every Motherwell fan will be desperate to see us put one over "Eddie Munster"
6. Expectation is high
I said to my mates all week we wouldn't lose at Tynecastle having seen Hearts I wasn't impressed. However I just have a feeling of foreboding that Kilmarnock will piss on our parade. Hopefully not š¤
I see JBA has a 19yr old son who is a centre half for Odense. Julius BA
hes been capped for Denmark u19s
a centre halfā¦ā¦ heās a centre half š š¤£
At the moment heās definitely not the type of player to benefit us. From what Iāve seen and speaking to normal rangers fans I know they feel Rangers have destroyed him and his confidence. Heās also cursed with the Lennon miller comparison constantly which is a weight to carry for a young player. (Not that i feel sorry for him as thatās on him and his father)
unless heās coming to us permanently ā¦. Even then Iām not sureā¦I see zero point in a loan deal where this will only really benefit rangers and potentially Rice.
I thought I'd seen every disappointment I could have in my many years following them but even I was surprised at losing a 3-0 lead Tynecastle in 25 mins.
I see George Long (2015 play-off keeper) has just moved from Norwich to Southampton on loan. I thought he was down in the lower reaches these days. Good to hear and will done him!
I don't think we'll be looking for another goalie tbh. We would recall Matty if we wanted another option surely? Also think for all the errors on Saturday Ward made a couple of very decent saves to keep us from losing
Totally agree we need at least 1 CB, probs 2.
I wonder if he is also looking at a goalie as it appears he doesn't think Ox can play with his feet and Ward hasn't been great at shot stopping?
Your right Dave dropping a keeper after 1 bad game wont help their confidence so Ward will start.
That said however the Killie game for me is a must win, not in the avoiding relegation sense, but in building team confidence in finally getting the win their great play in recent games deserves.
So I hope JBA and the players have learned from the Hearts game and realise that any errors are not acceptable.
The wins will come. Christ, we've played 4 games! No-one expected 3 points against Rangers (We got 1). StM (Very much our level) 1 point on their turf (decent result) StJ were never going to be a pushover. Best of the championship with something to prove. (We got through) We battered Hearts for an hour in capital and not a soul would have expected that. Yes we should have seen it out but we'd all have taken a point before a ball was kicked. That said, I expect 3 points on Saturday against the one who shall remain unnamed.
The 3-0 part i agree with but decent reception and respect? This is man who left whole support without a name with his contradicted stories and then cringe interview with The Sun. As a few have said give him silent treatment and create a rousing atmosphere behind JB and the lads. Hopefully our new style can defeat the hoofball king.

There seemed to be a consensus on here in the end that Kettlewell was an imposter as a manager. If the people that were confident in that opinion have the courage of their convictions they will feel very confident about this coming weekend.
