Stephen O'Donnell has a chance of playing at Hampden on Saturday, Jens Berthel Askou says Motherwell will make a late call on his fitness. Tawanda Maswanhise expected to be fit after going off too.
Speaking of kicking, I hope we have a better ref
for the semi than the one tonight. Utd just kicked lumps out of us from start to finish and it didn’t seem to bother the ref.
Both teams will be thinking they have a great chance to get to a final, and a great chance in a final against relatively under-performing OF sides.
It's very likely going to be close, but I think our quality on the ball and our pace on the large playing surface should give us the edge.
Hendry was so unlucky with his shot off the line. Breezed past two Utd players as if they weren't there. Like what I'm seeing from him and still think he'll come good.
Honestly think if we turn up, play the way we can & take our chances we will have too much for St Mirren.
The counter to that is that St Mirren will be very well organised and hard for us to get around them, they will kick fuck out of our technical players & will be ready to capitalise on any mistake we make at the back.
So yea, agree - too close to call
But...... its all in our hands! Take the game to them & book our place in the final!
Sorry, but it really isnt a difficult choice tonight.
Slattery, Fadinger, RCC, Koutroumbis all had good games, but Elliot Watt was an absolute stand out tonight.
One of the most complete midfield performances Ive seen from a Motherwell player in a long time and a fantastic goal to put the icing on the cake.
Beating Dundee United will never not be enjoyable no matter who their manager is. A more arrogant support you’d struggle to find outwith Celtic and Aberdeen.
