  1. I don’t often get on my high horse but this is a sanctimonious and entitled reply. I have read the rest of the thread and replies and the dismissive attitude doesn’t get better. This DOES matter regardless of who is asking for the sanction and I am no fan of SPFL or Scottish Government hypocrisy. Use of pyros is not some political stance it is an outright danger to the people using and others in the vicinity. If the club is willing to accept that they don’t lose out financially because inconsiderate and negligent morons, or their excusers, have paid the cost of 50 tickets then I’m seriously worried about that attitude towards the safety and wellbeing of majority of the rest of us fans. As per the original post if Block E stuck to the tifos, joyful exuberance, and carnival atmosphere they can and do create they would continue be a credit to the club. Covering up and dismissing the dangerous behaviour risks totally undermining all the good. Multiple wrongs and hypocrisy from other “fans” behaviours is deflection and no excuse.

  2. I know what you mean, but I don't see it as a case of what could have been. We're 6 months into a radically new approach, and an approach that needs to be learned and worked out during games. We're miles ahead of where I thought we would be, and picking up points in places I did not expect.

  4. Really happy to get something from today. think it was @mio who said he had the fear going into this , i had same feeling . It’s very hard to adjust to expecting not to lose when we haven’t lost many games . Hibs I thought played decent stuff and looked dangerous , first part of the game they really dominated but we slowly and surely came into it . The commentators made a decent point that we at times try to find the perfect goal, I tend to agree , we could be a bit more direct and like we all know need more cutting edge in final 3rd TW took his goal brilliantly , proving to be a great asset . Overall a very decent point .

  5. The thing is, Welsh still has 18 months to run on his Celtic contract and wage level. Why would he want to sign for Aberdeen now on half his current salary? If he wants to leave, he will have a better choice of clubs in the summer or later. If Aberdeen offer to take him on loan and pay a larger % of his wages he doesn't have to agree and it wouldn't benefit him financially as he wouldn't see any of that increased contribution.

  6. Why do football fans suspend employment reality when it comes to players. Doesn't matter a fuck if Aberdeen don't have a manager or whether or not he flops. If someone offers you a 3 year contract on 10 grand a week you won't worry about fuck all else. This fanciful notion that players are motivated by places in the league, chance of European football really is suspending reality. Look at Jake Hastie took the chance was utter shite from the minute he left us but laughing all the way to the bank on the back of a 3 year contract with Rangers.. If Aberdeen want him and they are bidding with us it's extremely unlikely he would choose us. Happy to eat humble pie if Welsh is the first player in 20 years to take lower wages just cos he likes where he is.

  7. Agree he hasn’t kept up his early form but I thought today he was better than some of his more recent games

  8. Maswanhise is a better striker than Stamatelopoulos ever will be. We should’ve punted him in the summer when there was a rumoured offer.

  9. I presume JBA has finallly realised that in normal open play Stamatelopoulos offers feck all, his positional play and tactical awareness are brutal, hes never where hes needed, if possible he should be moved on this window. Osong is pretty much the same, in his limited game time he has offered nothing to suggest here is a player there, for me his loan deal should be ended as its of no value to the club at all.

  10. I’d have taken a draw before the game but there’s always a wee bit of annoyance when we go 1-0 and don’t keep it. fair play though we worked hard and I do think that’s a tough tough game today against a team who are flying. we do seem to be a bit walking wounded just now, the players look knackered and we really need a couple of new players to come in. a point I think was fair.

  11. Thought we were slightly better team in 2nd half. Always take a draw against a city team away from home. Keeps us running along nicely.
