Murder having players with surnames that confuse folk. Must have been something you Said ! š¤Ŗš¤Ŗ2 points

Weirdly, I've got to agree with MJC here...if the green fannies don't go on the park (at the home of their most bitterest rivals) then the blue fannies don't reciprocate. As soon as the penalty was taken I knew fannies of that Club would be on the park2 points

A look at your posts over some time re the uglies clearly shows an attempt to minimise the awfulness of RFC. Walk like a duck comes to mind!! Yesterday's aftermath is a case in point in that you blame Celtic supporters when even the dogs in the street can see the Rangers fans where in attack mode . Celtic fans although they shouldn't have invaded the park were largely celebratory. And of course I don't recall Celtic supporters attacking Rangers players!!! I suggest you fully brief yourself on RFC as even the most basic analysis shows that it remains a cornerstone of bigotry in the 21st century. For example this is seen by them continuing to play in orange strips when this colour is nowhere to be found in their official colours. RFC clearly knows its support base . And aside from their ' values' we can't forget their liquidation resulting from their evidenced cheating of HMRC and indeed other clubs ( including us) from points, trophies and European places. Any other club would have been put out of existence. Yup, Celtic and many of its supporters are distasteful but they are manifestly not as disagreeable as the blue lot no matter how much you might want to disagree. Finally, when posting in the future you might want to remember the great journalist Ian Archer's description of RFC and its support " As the permanent embarrassment and the occasional disgrace". Never a truer word.2 points

Wee bit strange reading of things. Plenty of shots off target, but certainly not all, given their keeper made 8 saves. And their goal was disallowed because it was well offside.2 points

Did Rangers fans not jump onto the park when Fernandez slam dunked it into the Celtic net? anyway, the whole whataboutery is pathetic and really has hee haw to do with us. I just found the whole thing totally distastefulā¦ā¦ and I know I shouldnātā¦quite funny!! Both support highlighted for what the areā¦.. an embarrassment on to Saturday now and watching Celtic yesterday, we should have nothing to fearā¦. They really arenāt that good2 points

Neither comes out of it well, but what happened at the end of the game was Celtic fans fault because they instigated the entire thing by invading the park. Anyone who believes, or pretends to believe otherwise is deluding themselves and enabling Celtic and the control they have over football, the authorities and large parts of society in general.2 points

We've gone from winning title chat to struggling to finish 4th. I mean we're still just 5 pts behind Champions League qualification. Long way to go for chat, in both directions.2 points

Both Clubs should be punished for the on field stuff from their fans. Don't think any right thinking person is saying otherwise. There are also a few other on field behaviours by players that need looking at but likely won't be. And meaningless fines don't work. But how about the off field stuff we saw yesterday? By that I mean the sickening graffiti celebrating that fans died attending a match, the storming of turnstiles/exit doors to allow non ticket holders to enter and the destruction of seats. Plenty of evidence highlighting those things. All down to the same set of fans who we know acted in that exact same manner at Fir Park. Their behaviour should be addressed as a separate issue and severe action taken by the football authorities and police. But just as at Fir Park I suspect any action and condemnation will be minimal. Much easier to focus on the pitch invasions, as per the narrative from Club officials and most media outlets. Tom English comments on the BBC excepted. I thought he painted a true picture of what occurred. We may have our own issues from time to time. But thank god we are far removed from the toxic behaviour we see elsewhere.1 point

I'm in general agreement about the masked thuggery, but I'm OK with this guy: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c0rj2kq978qo āA masked fan unplugged a video assistant referee (VAR) monitor in a German second division match on Sunday as the referee went to the pitchside screen to check a penalty awardā1 point

Time we moved on but i am actually cutting MJC some slack, think lot of points are valid. I despise both teams though as always its the clowns that get the attention, I have plenty of mates that support old firm and are totally genuine and reasonable. We move on to league business1 point

Absolute nonsense. At no point have I ever tried to āminimise the awfulness of RFCā. I simply believe they are less awful than Celtic. You obviously see things differently but thatās my view. I donāt like Rangers and I find a lot of their fans to have a weird backward looking mindset but Celticās worst is is worse than Rangers worst in my experience. What happened yesterday would not have happened had Celtic fans not invaded the park at the conclusion of the penalty shootout. And letās be clear, they did not simply āspill onto the park to celebrateā as is now being spun by them and their cheerleaders. They were goading and taunting the Rangers fans as is clearly shown in the many photos and videos from yesterday. In such a highly charged atmosphere there was always going to be a reaction and indeed you would have seen similar had that happened at an Edinburgh derby, a Dundee derby or even a Lanarkshire derby and donāt try and tell me otherwise. Attitudes like yours of āAch it was only big, bad dirty bigoted Rangers, theyāre fair game for abuse and goadingā is part of the reason why Celtic get away with so much in this country and why they have in the past and will again do similar at Fir Park as they did yesterday. They never get the criticism and condemnation their behaviour merits because people canāt separate being criticial of them with being pro-Rangers. You donāt have to like Rangers, indeed you can think they are the worst evil scum out there if thatās how you see them. But what happened yesterday was caused by Celtic fans and there is no two ways about it.1 point

Imagine being a fully grown man wearing a silly wee mask running about thinking you are hard how embarrssing and that goes for every club these aholes think they are bigger than the clubs but dont even have the balls to show face.Ban them for life and if they breech the ban then jail time get them out horrible juan kers. Its time for banning of full face coverings in public gatherings like football matches and such no need for it. Sorry about the rant peeps back to the football i fancy us to do something on Saturday looking at the players Celtic have out i think we might just turn them over,2-1 to the Superwell with Celtic getting goal via a dodgy pen!1 point

See? This is the nonsense Iām talking about with anyone criticising Celtic being labelled a Rangers fan. Itās laughable yet ridiculous in equal measures. I love how you completely ignore that I have already said on more than one occasion in this thread that neither side comes out of it well and that what happened, shouldnāt have happened. I will put this as simply as I can. If the Celtic fans do not enter the park at the end of the game then the Rangers fans donāt enter in retaliation a few minutes later. Neither should have happened but something had to get the ball rolling and that was the Celtic fans invading the pitch. I have said nothing there in support of or even positive about Rangers and their fans behaviour yesterday but the Celtic fans were to blame for the post match chaos.1 point

You need to take off the Red/White/Blue tinted specs. Both are as bad as each other and for you to say it was all Celtic fans fault is laughable. Were Rangers fans forced to jump onto the park, run the length of the park and throw flares into the Celtic end? Is that accepteable to you because Celtic fans ran onto the park?(equally unaccepteable) I`d make both play behind closed doors for there next home games, but we all know the SFA wouldn`t have the balls.1 point

There are numerous videos on social media showing Celtic fans forcing open exits to enter the stadium yesterday as well as damage to seats, advertising boards and graffiti everywhere. Basically the same as they do every time they come to Fir Park but on a much larger scale. Celtic fans are the most self entitled, pig headed arseholes in football but because of their clout and influence in football, society and politics they know they will get away with it and they simply flip from wanting to play the tough guy and pushing everyone around to victim mode when anyone challenges them. As for reducing their allocation the next time they come here, that is a non starter because they will just do what they do even when theyāve got the full allocation - double up at turnstiles or else simply force their way in. It would also increase the likelihood of then buying home end tickets which then puts our fans at risk, especially if the game is a potential title decider as it may well be come the time.1 point

750 away tickets in a stadium that size, that is seldom sold out these days is a joke. Thats about 1.2%. Given the importance of the game when they come calling to Fir Park and given passed incidents we should cut their allocation to a similar 1.2%. Motherwell fans must come first. On another note it seems individuals following Celtic barged through security checks at Ibrox. Not for the first time. They cannot be trusted and one day will cause a major incident. The authorities need to act before its to late. As for the pitch invasion. Ive seen more aggression on boxing day up at the shops. Not that it excuses them being on the pitch. Over to the authorities to deal accordingly. Plenty of pictures of the individuals involved.1 point

Apart from the Dundee game on Saturday which I predicted us to win 3-0? Or did you just ignore that one as it didnāt suit your narrative? Yes I am very much a Motherwell fan, a diehard Iād even go so far as to say. I rarely, if ever miss a home match. I donāt know how you can deduce from my posts that I am a Rangers fan as I donāt think Iāve said much in the way of anything positive about them, apart from finding them less repulsive and dislikable than Celtic but of course to many people in this part of the world saying that does somehow translate to being pro-Rangers. Especially to people who are obsessed by and consumed with their hatred of Rangers, like you.1 point

I agree, I've not seen the ins and outs of yesterday but sounds like the narrative is celtic fans over exuberant, rangers aggressive. I've worked and been in the company of celtic fans to know what some can be like1 point
-
I donāt want to poke a bear (literally) but are you a Motherwell fan? Have you ever attended a Motherwell match? im pretty sure every single post Iāve seen from you is suggesting weāll lose whatever game we are playing? I may be totally wrong and Iām sorry if I have the wrong end of the stick but it just seems you are a rangers fan trolling us? Which againā¦. Is fine but just a bit odd1 point
-
Unless they physically dragged Rangers fans onto the pitch, they're both to blame. People are responsible for their own actions, and since neither of them will ever give a toss about anyone else, I'm happy to reciprocate. If we turn up on Saturday, Celtic are there for the beating. Is that our allocation sold out?1 point
-
Celtic have previous for this as we saw at Fir Park a few years back. Hundreds of their fans jumping on the park, confronting stewards and players. They are out of control and can basically do what they like because the authorities are terrified of them and their club. But itās the easier and āsaferā option to just blame Rangers, even when all the evidence points to who really is to blame.1 point

This is a one off season . Enjoy it because the Gaffer and players will be away at the end of the season. It's been brilliant and not finished yet coyw.1 point

As far as I can tell, Celtic fans invaded the pitch first. Anyways, both sets of fans behaved shockingly. The main issue that will worry the Scottish Government and SFA is were pyros used? If not, its unlikely that strict liability will be enforced.1 point

Yesterdayās result was just a huge disappointment even although Iāve been expecting a defeat to come along at some point. When compared to our new normal performances it was not what weāre used to but I give Dundee some credit for that. Fair doās to the team and JBA for trying different tactics in the second half, much different than how we normally played. Caused a lot of goalmouth scrambles and on another day we might have got a few goals. I thought when we did score we would at least take a point but we were not able to ( or decided not to) switch back to our more controlled game and be patient as there was still 12+ mins to go. We Continued to persevere with the alternate tactics that got us the equalizer. Despite what we consider to be a sub par performance we still dominated the game so, while very disappointing result, I see no reason to change what we have been doing all season and this is just an expected blip in the road.1 point

Both will get fined a small amount and itāll blow over after a lot of finger pointing as usual. Rangers may get a bigger fine as one of their fat fans wobbled on and had a pop at a Celtic official but sadly⦠that will be it. Rangers will blame the schools system and things will role on to the next poisonous encounter. my main take from that game was Celtic made almost zero chances in 120 mins and their injury position looks bad so this bears well for Saturday.1 point

Disgraceful scenes at Ibrox. Mainly Ranger's fans but some Celtic fans on the field too. the SFA need to hammer this behavior but they probably wonāt.1 point
