I thought Motherwell were fantastic tonight. Really, really unlucky in key moments of the game but the travesty of the penalty aside, it is equally a travesty if we as Motherwell fans cannot appreciate that performance tonight That team did not bottle it tonight. They were the better side in almost every aspect of the game and but for two moments of real quality from Maeda and Nygren they would have won the match.

Absolutely rotten post. The guys have done their all in the last two games and played their hearts out (pardon the pun) against two teams going for the title. This isn't a Motherwell 0-4 in previous seasons in similar circumstances. Woeful post.

I’m a bit surprised by some of the negative posts. Yes, we have faltered a bit down the home Stretch but we have managed to create a team that plays good football, has been able to go toe to toe with any team in the league amd with a wee bit of luck could have been in an even higher position. I’m disappointed too but I think phrases like “this is not good enough” is a bit over the top. So much has been fixed from previous seasons and there is still plenty room for improvement but I’d rather have seasons like this than the ones we’ve been subjected too for the last umpteen years. no reason we can’t keep our 4th position.

There weren't meany streams available at the time for this game. The only one I was able to find was Celtic TV. The commentators were loving life when they were 1 - 0 up, distraught when Skippy scored the first and cut the mics when he scored the second. Glorious.

No one will put a decent offer in for him . He has reverted to type, a fast striker in the wrong place and always on the wrong foot and a yard short in position. He was lucky to be in a good team playing well to score the goals he has . Won't be missed.

There’s no doubting the standards of football and the pleasing on the eye entertainment has been unreal this season but there defo is sadly and in reality another side of the story . AP going on loan, not signing a striker of any ability and persisting with masswanhise has sadly been catalysts to a really poor end to the season . Europe should have been sewn up weeks ago and we’ve bottled it severely / that’s just a fact. Tonight’s corruption is another story altogether but we as a club are as much to blame as the other 9 outwith the old firm as we just don’t stand up for ourselves and seem to except it. The scenes at the end tonight were shocking but nothing new but we as a club should be doing much more to avoid that and protect our players and fans. Strathclydes finest hiding in their vans outside are a disgrace . Infact the sfa spfl and the police are all as corrupt as each other

That last 15 mins we were all over them they were never going to score and Beaton couldn't wait to make call looked at the screen for about 10 secs then yep pen. Disgusting even if that was the other way about I be saying its an utter disgrace of a call but tonight embarrassing for Scottish football.

We could have all written the script to the end of that game tonight,absolutely disgraceful,cheating at its most blatant and it will make barely a ripple in the media,sadly we have to watch our team play in the most biased league on the planet and it's never going to change.tonight is exactly the reason why I've been rooting for hearts all season to win the league but they don't have a hope in hell on the last day,they will be screwed over from the first whistle.

Exactly this - there was a determination to take it to the last game of the season . I don’t often (ever) have sympathy for hearts but I do tonight . i also think we’re being very harsh on our team , we’ve had a tough run of games and not many teams have been able to turn us over . It took a very dodgy decision tonight .

Our record in crucial games this season is poor. LC Semi Final Lost to shite SC Lost to Shite Chance to all but seal Europe draw with Hearts Chance to secure 4th Lose to Celtic. We just can't seem to get these game over the line. I don't fancy us against Hibs at Easter Road.

Good goal, think it was meant as a cross though. I liked McKinstry and he seemed to be the only bright spot during Hammell's time, but he definitely wasn't a Kettlewell type of player. Shame as he probably would have done well in the current setup.

Halliday comes across really well in that interview. He certainly isnt the character I had anticipated when we signed him. Just goes to show, you should never judge a book by its cover. I wish him well for whatever the future holds and look forward to seeing him in The Hunter next season!
