I Know for a fact that that you are not the only one that has contacted the WS. All very 'Pass the buck', sadly. Gives the impression they don't want to rock the boat by themselves raising the issue on behalf of Members.

Im sure the vast majority of the people who sit in the " new seats" in the pod are not looking for any form of compensation as they would still have to sit in the seats. Personally as an ST holder in the pod all i want is the club to acknowledge that they fecked up big time on this issue and get it sorted ASAP then we can all sit comfortably again.

Nobody will convince me Vogt is a player, out of all players mentioned above, Higdon, moult, Cowan etc etc ….. they’d all proved themselves prior to coming to us. I’d never boo any of our players though, absolutely never. I will however put my head in my hands and say nothing or mutter quietly to myself “for fks sake”!!! I would love it if he proved my initial take as wrong but I do see Willy moving on loan as soon as we get players back fit or another attacking player is added. and I think the players don’t rate him either…. The general looks and moaning at him when he’s on doesn’t fill me with our players having much confidence in him.

For Vogt I really hope the fans don't start getting on his back as that doesn't solve anything. If we get right behind him then hopefully the confidence builds though granted he needs to be showing us more. He wasn't in the squad last week, so I thought maybe he was injured. He had worked his way back into first team contention last season after yet another injury spell. I'd be worried he'd not be able to stay fit in the high press, high tempo game we want to play now. That's what finished him off at Celtic - losing his place through injury when they played a similar style, and never managing to reclaim it.

The goal v hibs and goal on Thursday? If that's not playing out from the back, what is? I think , even with Slatts,Just and Watt, we would have lost on Thursday. You got to have the ball to keep it , Freiburg just different level.

If we ever manage to get everyone fit, I think we have done a good job in recruiting the new defence.

The goals lost can be blamed on defending all day but let's be realistic. The first was a header from an experienced, 6 foot plus forward with 51 caps for the German national team. That, coupled with the delivery would be difficult for any team in our league to defend. The third the guy was given a free header unfortunately but by that point we were down to 10 and done in so I'll cut the boys some slack there. We held our own against a superior team for large parts of the game last night and were well in it in the second half. Disappointing result of course but we can be proud of the performance and the effort the boys put in for sure.

Yes, very much so. Whilst we'll never be at Freiburg's level, there are valuable lessons to be learnt tonight by the players and management including Nick Daws. It was notable that despite our opponents superior technical ability, 2 of their goals came from brute force and superior physicality. You simply can't beat a big physical defence, when push comes to shove. We don't have a big team height wise and that needs to be recognised and acted upon. Yes, the new boy up front looked good despite working on scraps.
