European football is a joke. Hearts have not won a game in 90 mins, yet like Celtic find themselves in the league setup. This getting beat and dropping into another competition needs to be stopped. Give the smaller teams a chance of getting the big money to help them improve.3 points

Well to be fair, it was proven that Danzaki could influence the result of a match, just not in the way we expected !3 points

Tell that to Cape Vedre. Scotland were an embarrassment in the USA, Cape Verde said fuck it, we're here, have a go. Such defeatist pish.2 points

I think the club have been more than patient with them (whoever they are and whatever group they congregate with before any apologist jumps in). I know the club like to promote this cuddly wee community club line where everyone is welcome and we're all Jock Tamsons bairns but they need to recognise that we have an element in our support that would appear to thumb their noses at that and they need dealt with pronto otherwise our reputation will slowly go down the drain. My particular gripe is the mess they leave with their penchant for plastering every available surface in away grounds with stickers and graffiti for which we've had to fork out a pretty penny to other clubs to remove. Grow up boys and support your team the proper way and don't spoil it for the majority. Your actions tonight is 2 fingers up to the club and your fellow fans.2 points

That was a great effort by the team tonight. Sure, Freiburg are a far better side physically and technically, but the boys dug in, and until the sending off, they were holding their own. If we had continued with 11 on the pitch in both legs, who knows what would have transpired. A great experience being at the game tonight and thanks go to the team for their effort. Let's do it all again next year. COYW2 points

Can’t believe we are being written off from European football by some oF our fans. We had Jens for a season and AJ has been here 5 minutes and look how much we have improved, whilst dealing with “best” players leaving and big injury list. We may not win a european contest but we are already more than capable of Competing and what a joy it would be to see us competing in league format euro competition. I’d rather have that than the meaningless league cup but I do understand that people would want us to win a league cup. It would be ideal to do both.2 points

On the plus side being in Europe may hamper Hearts, Celtic and Hibs(?) in the Scottish league and aside from that I think it has been a good comparison for us to gage where we are as a football team and I’d say it confirms we are heading in the right direction.2 points

When you look back at it, despite them being a class or two above us, they never 'beat' us when it was 11 v 11. Took the sending offs in both games to put them ahead. That was the toughest of tough draws, and for an hour in both games, we acquitted ourselves quite well.2 points
-
In both game until sending offs score would have been alot closer had it not been for two sending offs. Not saying we'd have gone through but until then in both games we were doing OK. Nowt to be down about. The only black spot so far was Stenhousemuir.2 points

No ones writing European Football off, some say its a bonus because we will never win and it is. Doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy it or celebrate it while it lasts Its a reward for a good domestic season. Would I rather be in Group stage of the Conference League or win the League Cup. Give me a Trophy in the Trophy Cabinet every day of the week. Trophys are permanent, getting fucked out of any competition at any stage is temporary / transitional . In a 100 years time historians looking back wont be looking at European tournaments that we will always get put out of at some point , invariably in the early rounds or indeed wont qualify for all that often, whereas Trophy's in the Trophy Cabinet they will. Winners are remembered participants are forgotten. With the attitude some of our fans have to the two Trophys we stand a chance of winning we should perhaps put in a filing cabinet rather than a trophy cabinet in any new ground / main stand.1 point

Agreed. I'm sure Larne will be delighted to hold off Lincoln Red Imps to reach the group stages. There are much worse teams than us in the groups. That's a fact.1 point

Anyone who chooses to obscure their face with a balaclava or similar at a football match, or anywhere else, has something to hide. They’re criminals. We see them elsewhere in society. Identify them, ban them and be done with it.1 point

Now Europe and the League Cup are out of the way, he’s seen what he’s got and knows what he needs. As such, I fully expect several to be sent on their way and one or two more in.1 point

Absolutely bollocks, these players will find these games invaluable, the experience playing against better teams will serve them well.1 point

We were unfortunate to hit a brick wall in the play-off round, but we navigated all the legs in the other ties with a high level of competence, despite our concerns about new players, new manager and lack of time together. If we can continue to build on that, we'll be fine this season.1 point

Have a day off ffs, Im glad the team dont take that " we know our level" attitude, our level is whatever we want it to be, play to win every game we take part in and see where we end up. We wont win them all but with the right attitude we can be the best we can be. This has probably been our best ever Euro adventure, 4 great results in Q2 and Q3 and eliminated by a far better team who struggled to break us down until we went down to 10 men in both games. So why not try some positivity for a change instead of your usual negative doom and gloom trolling shite, you might actually enjoy it1 point

Proud of the team. To come up against a top side from a top league and give it a right go is exceptional. Especially as we have lost so many quality players from last year. To get the new team up and running and making connections and building rapport is hats off to the staff and manager particularly when we bring In Players and a couple of games later they have had an injury as for tonight going to be hard to play again with ten men and indeed it’s perhaps noticeable that they never really ran away with it until we were down to ten men clearly though they are a very decent outfit hope we an aspire to be like them gers going out is a mind feck does anyone else know of that will affect 4th place being a Europe spot? Hope Hibs and hearts do well in Europe and we can over come them in the league1 point

A decent effort, but the reds killed us. TBH not sure if squad is equipped for league and Euro group phase at the moment, so a good experience and maybe push on next year. The most competent team we'll face this season. Was a pretty harsh draw for the competition we were in.1 point

Well beaten by a far superior side over both legs. The only concern is the (potential) injury to Longelo which we could really do without. We can now concentrate on games that really matter.1 point

Well done lads, so proud and yet again game turned on a red card.. very encouraging signs under this squad and AJ who looks ro be a great replacement. The flares before game beggar belief but that's for another time. COYW1 point

Conceding from set plays to a team like this is far more about the size of their players and quality of their delivery than our defending. We wont see anything like this in the league1 point

Yip.. need to sort out set piece defending. Has totally killed us but so proud of way we have not hid and gave it everything1 point

Hope we get a goal to give the travelers a bounce. Other than that, avoiding a skelping would be nice. On the bright side, we could concede double figures and still wouldn't be as embarrassing as Celtics effort.1 point

What ?? You have two good kidneys. You only need one, selling the other would be the obvious choice for any die hard well fan really wanting to go. I'm going for the £12 solidsport option obviously.1 point

Beaten by the superior team over the two legs. However, our inability to (a) prevent crosses into the box and (b) defend those crosses is a massive concern. But oh well, back to the League Cup and the glamour of domestic football…0 points
