Heās been getting really good write ups and has started their past 3 games. Absolutely delighted for the ladā¦.. whoād have thought a young guy would have needed a little bit of time to settle playing abroad?? Crazy eh!! last month we had Celtic and rangers fans saying he was rubbish and they dodged a bullet buying him. Give it a few months and itāll be a āno brainerā for them to sign him. i sat in work yesterday and listened to 3 rangers fans tell me that Ā£3m is a fair price for them to get Maswanhise and we should sell him and cash in??? Fk off and pay your face painter you inbred mongrels.4 points

Aye but Shaun McSkimming was a starter in the same league as Brian Laudrup3 points

Does anyone know which section the young Well fans will be using, with their drum. Just asking so that I can avoid it if possible. Cheers.3 points

Our transfer Windows are usually more miss than hit but our summer 2025 transfer window must be by far and away our best one ever. Considering that also included our new manager coming in who has been nothing short of exceptional and Wimmer's one and only signing also being superb it's hard to think how it can be beaten. To think we also managed to make our biggest ever sale and replace with a few players now worth over a £million in the squad it genuinely beggars belief how good that window has turned out to be. It should turn out to be genuinely transformational for our club and stand us in good stead for years to come. The board also deserve massive credit for this. Must be in contention for not just our but possibly even the league's best transfer window by a club?3 points

Miller has already had more first team minutes than the vast majority of youngsters that the OF sign (and then loan out before the inevitable punting). It's rare to see a young Scottish player developing in either side. He did well to avoid them.3 points

You can see why Killie get so many red cards. They're not shy at leaving one in on every tackle.3 points

Never quite got the hype from our fans for him. Looking back I'd say he was ok but no more than that. In a few of the matches in which I saw him, the game seemed to pass him by. If he's being punted out on loan again by Coventry, that tells its own story.2 points

He must have bribed somebody to convince Motherwell that he was a footballer for his short stint at Fir park.2 points

My main gripe was with way he left the club and threw support under club with his contradictory stories. Anyway he done us a favour as if he hadn't quit we might not have ended up with JBA via Wimmer. JBA is just an absolute legend2 points

As soon as SK signed Bair, he gave a press conference saying he was his "project" because he thought he saw potential in him and could coach him in to being a productive striker. People might not like Kettlewell, but it doesn't mean 100% of what he did was wrong. He was spot on with Bair and did make him productive and turned a nice profit for the club when he was moved on. I wouldn't want him back as a manager, but he did have some successes and we don't need to rewrite history to pretend he didn't. As others have said, recruitment is a collaboration at our level. From the data analysts to the manager and coaches, from the agents to the Chairman and CEO. Even the other players and club staff can help.2 points

If someone is offering 5m+ for JT, we're accepting it while trying our best to keep a straight face, and will change our phone number the second its signed. Every player at every club has a price, and if someone wants to pay the January premium, then it will happen. I don't think anyone will offer what it would take though. Has a buy and loan back deal actually happened? Or are they as made up as the player + cash deals that don't happen either.2 points

We thoroughly deserved our win yesterday and I enjoyed it apart from the first 20 minutes or so when we were caught a bit cold by Killie's tactics. Over the piece though we played some lovely football and scored well worked goals. Our leading cushion allowed JBA to practice more rotation and bring on Thor, Luca Ross and young Rocco McColm, none of whom disappointed. Very early days but Thor looks as if he'll fit well into our system. A real team performance but I thought that Just, Sparrow and Fadinger and Priestman stood out just a little bit more. The latter was my MOTM for his constant movement and making himself available. Whilst individuals are important of course its really good to see a successful system in which rotation makes minimal difference. In past seasons if one or two star players were injured, the whole system was compromised. The one down side for me was Killie's style. Outwith our control of course, but it left a bad taste. Going out to deliberately injure opponents is not for me. I can just about thole Alexanderball and Kettleball but McCannball is not for me. That and extreme pettiness reflects badly on them. One example of that was when there were 2 balls on the pitch and the ref allowed us to take a quick free kick; the Killie player could easily have tapped the redundant ball out of play but instead chose to kick it into the middle of the action area causing play to stop. That and a total unwillingness to retreat 10 yards at free kicks. Thats down to weak refereeing and questionable management from Neil McCann. All that shouldn't detract from a good performance, big win and large home crowd. Its great to be a Dosser these days.2 points

Did I hear right that Neil McCann was yellow carded for complaining after our 2nd that we took the free kick quickly before he could finish giving instructions to his players? How rude of us!2 points

I so miss the forum of a year ago where we thought everyone in the team should be shot on sight and the manager needed strung up from the floodlights Said nobody ever...2 points

65/35 possession for us 11/5 shots for us 6/0 shots on target for us but doesnāt feel like that as Iām watching the game. We certainly picked up a bit after the first 20 mins or so but stats make it look more comfortable than it was.2 points

Iād agree with this, if we could keep hold of this group then I really believe we can achieve so much. I donāt think any manager in Scotland in a long time has achieved what Jenās has. Teams can go on winning runs, but for me itās the consistency of our play and the ability rotate players into this system is unmatched. Also the signings have been outstanding. Example being Preistman who I think is a star in the making.2 points

Just for context, Bodø Glimt are allegedly after £7m for Kasper Høgh - 25 y.o., good goal-scoring record in Norway and in the Champions League - so I think that Maswanhise is below that valuation. If we can get roughly the same fee as we received for Miller, I think that would be acceptable1 point

What was the squad worth last season ? A tiny fraction of that Its our manager that has turned it into a multi million pound squad if your valuations are correct or even in the ball park all credit goes to him , i would think. His leadership , man management and style are fantastic But who was it that scouted and signed TJ in the first place , Kettlewell the shite manager with a thin skin whoās brand of football is awful. But thats two nobody strikers he signed, Bair and TJ they have turned into million pound plus players for us. Shite manager who put us in trouble but looks like he made us a good profit from both of them. He did sign shite ones as well . Just saying. Bet Grizlyg is still raging tho.1 point

Now there is a phrase i haven't heard in a while!. Is very true though. When we were struggling and some of tge signings dubious it was Nick Daws fault. Now we are having success and he isn't mentioned. I would assume he spotted Maswanhise and Watt but not sure if he is involved with the Australian market1 point

Every club is looking for a goalscorer, so any one that comes into that category and is still only 23 has got to be worth upwards of 10 million. Why should we always seem to sell ourselves short?1 point

Things are really hotting up at the top of the table. Motherwell are now in a group of 4. Interesting article on the BBC Sport page today about points v performance, the takeaway being that Hearts and Rangers have more points than their underlying stats (performance) would suggest and Motherwell are roughly where we should be on points. I think most of us would instinctively agree that was the case. Rangers have benefited from a good few 50/50 decisions (have not seen today's penalty decision v Dundee). Hearts as Orinoco says above have been resilient and clinical with set plays. Motherwell have been as good as the teams above. We have Rangers looming on the horizon at Firpark. If (big if) we can go into that game with another couple of wins under our belt, then it becomes a massive game for us. Given a level playing field in that game (and I am not talking about the condition of the pitch) we should have nothing to fear. Very interesting times.1 point

Agree that heās Celtics player to dictate situation however either this means SW is back with us mon or Tuesday at latest or confirms suspicion that MONās loveable grandpa act is just that and heās screwing both us and Welsh over.1 point

I agree about about Bjorgolfsonn. He'll be a handful for defences with his height and physicality and offers us something different. I read somewhere that he's not a 30 yard screamer type of striker but rather one who can make space and lay the ball off for others but is also dangerous in and about the goal area and knows where the net is. I suspect his assist yesterday for Fadinger will be typical of his style. Agree too about young McColm. Great to see another youngster get his chance and he was very lively and comfortable when he came on.1 point

Well weāve not been brilliant but we do look like we could score every time we get up the park. Kilmarnock giving off St Mirren vibes with the two big awkward forwards would love a couple more.Just, Priestman, Slattery and Said have been good. Sparrow has done brilliant too. and it has to be said, Polworth is still one of the biggest bellends in Scottish football. An absolute con of a player. Every new manager sticks him directly into the team (cos he can actually play)and then after a month drop him when they realise what heās about.1 point

Hopefully, the club will capitalise on the demise, albeit the sad one, of Club 100. Perhaps that will boost patronage onf the club's own hospitality facilities be they the Cooper or Centenary Suites and the developing Mrs Baillies or other kiosks. Its vital that the our off the field income is maximised.1 point

I don't think that's the reality of what happened at the start of the season to be honest Rangers - A draw was probably fair but Sparrow should of won it for us at the end. St Mirren - Draw was a fair result Hearts - Should of won being 3-0 up at 60 mins. Ward had a mare and cost us 3 points Killie - Should of won 2-1 Ward dropped the ball and cost us the win there Dundee - Should of won by a couple of goals missed 2 1 on 1s and JK switched off at the back post for their goal. Celtic - Again should of taken something. Ward gave the ball to Nygren to draw them level and if that hadn't happened we'd of picked up at least a draw. The majority of the points dropped early on where from Goalkeeping errors which to be fair to him Ward has since eradicated1 point

To be fair, I'm not sure what percentage of that is "if the opposition don't have the ball, they can't score". Not that I'm complaining about that approach...1 point
