So if thats the case and there turns out to be nothing wrong with them who told the players to self isolate making them unavailable ? As I said before St Mirren were at it, and the SPFL are allowing it.
-
Looks like you are spot on with that shout https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54604857

I would not be holding my breath waiting for the SPFL to report back for the Killie, St Mirren or any other games they will allegedly investigate. Its been over 2 weeks since the Killie call off and we have heard nothing, how difficult can it be to establish how the players all tested positive, protocols and rules were either followed or not. They are probably running it past their legal team at Kerrydale St, before announcing it

Fair do,s mate I stand corrected if thats the official position so if clubs and players are following the correct procedures re masks and social distancing etc then multiple outbreaks should not happen, and take out the whole squad but that's for the SPFL to determine.
-
That may well be the case, and I will concede that point, but St mirren have a reported squad size this season of 23, so do you really believe that all 23 players or at least 10 of them has been in close contact with the one positive player yesterday for more than 15 mins, meaning they were unable to field a team , 24 hrs later, Sadio Mane tested positive for Liverpool, but the rest of the 1st team still played,, the set up and administration in Scotland is a shambles, and clubs are taking advantage, it needs sorted.
-
I know mate its a nightmare, but as of yesterday there was no issue at St Mirren, so even if 1 player, phones in sick this morning, or even worse turns up with symptoms, unless the whole squad stay with him, it should just be 1 player, maybe 2 if he gave somebody a lift. But in either scenario protocols were not followed so sanctions are required.
-
Do you understand the rules, if proper social distancing and all other procedures are being followed, 1 player testing positive should not take out the the entire squad, ie no close contact So unless the players are cuddling each other for at least 5 mins and not practicing safe distancing and going maskless, then they should be OK. St Mirren are at it big time, as were Kilmarnock.
-
As I understand it the SPFL can bring the clubs before a disciplinary panel if they suspect wrong doing for which they have a wide range of penalties available, including forfeiture of the match. But no doubt its all semantics and endless interpretation of the rules. No wonder the clubs are taking advantage.

The SPFL need to grow a set and start coming down hard on teams calling games off, all week we have heard Goodwin saying how unfortunate it is to have positive tests etc but they would reshuffle the team and get on with it, now 4 hrs before KO the game is off. The uefa guidelines which allegedly the SPFL have adopted state 13 registered players including 1 keeper, not 1st team , reserve , youth etc just registered players. So are St Mirren claiming as did Killie that they could not get 13 players to play today, its blatant Bullshit, both clubs are at it, knowing full well the SPFL are shitebags and will do feck all, the whole set up is a shambles that needs sorting.

" workplace based" Does that mean they allegedley broke protocols by having the rumoured poker night at Rugby park
-
Another 3 St Mirren players testing positive for covid, so missing Saturdays game https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54553075

Another one again tonight as well, a goal machine
-
Because the rules state if you have 13 fit players you need to fulfill the fixture, does not specify 1st team, reserves etc just players, the match against us should have been played. They will play against Livi with a makeshift team as Alex Dyer stated today, so why were they allowed to call off the game last week? There is something well dodgy about all those players testing positive, but as expected the alleged SPFL investigation has still to report, I won't be holding my breath.
-
According to stv news tonight, Livi knocked them back when they asked to postpone the game, they have 13 fit players according to Alex Dyer so they will be playing. I am sure they had 13 fit players the other week as well but never played us so they are at it if you ask me.

Dunne has been injured that long i had forgotten he was at the club.
-
Feck knows, mate he would be doing the team a favour by telling Clarke not to consider him in the future, but he seems to think he is a Billy big baws international star, but for that you need a great attitude and above average ability, he has neither.
-
McBurnie has made it clear on numerous occasions he is not really interested in playing for Scotland, that combined with the fact that he is brutal should mean he should get nowhere near the team, but Clarke selects him every squad., for me I would never select him again.
-
Potential MOTM according to the BBC match report, "assurred at the back" was the phrase used. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51955716
-
He's a tosser should be nowhere near the team, Clarke needs to grow a set and tell him to GTF, there are plenty of players who would be happy to take his place.
-
When did Scotland start this " you have to be playing well to get an international start" initiative, is this something new from the SFA?
-
Brechin must spend a lot cutting the hedge thats down one side of the park, garden maintenance is expensive.
-
He has been offered a new and presumably enhanced contract, so he may sign that, and the club would in the same position we were with Turnbull, so it could be a win win for the club if he signs on again.
-
Every football fan in Scotland apart from those who follow Rangers knows its the truth, it always has been. The ugly sisters, Rangers in particular get more than their fair share of penalties, read the link below. But the SFA / SPFL are shit scared of upsetting them so any criticism however trivial is punished. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/sport/18518343.amp/
-
surprised it took them this long to announce it, as much as he was only saying, what everybody feels, the comments were ill advised for somebody representing the club.

I see killie have forfeited the league Cup game against Falkirk, still amazes me how the rules for league and Cup are different for the same situation, ie a team unable and / or unwilling to fulfil a fixture.
