Ir was a medium skinny americano to go..he was honest about the deal said it was never an option not to sign but was trying to help the club out, i can only assume he meant that if a decent offer came in the club would get some cash.
-
Just spoke to Skippy at Costa coffee in East Kilbride he told me he was signing today, not re- signing was never an option so should be made official today

fucking ridiculous. Jobs for the boys. So after wasting another years wage on a geriatric midfielder we hand out 2 YEARS to an elderly left back who has been crocked for near 18 months?! Superb Motherwell
-
The chance was there 4 years ago to change the way the league was run in scotland for the better but it was not taken by the clubs so now its back to business as usual with 99% of the SPFL's time and effort concentrated on keeping 2 clubs happy to the detriment of the other 40 ably assisted by the shambles that is the SFA.

ok enough already with the back catalogue references..is the footballer any good did Mcghee say I want you

Oh i get the WS society ideal ok i just think its not right for the club in its present form. If this had been launched as a simple share issue to allow fans to purchase a stake in the club up to 51% or whatever percentage was deemed a controlling interest then potentially a lot more people would have got involved and taken up the offer. Obviously there would have to have been sufficient safeguards in place to prevent any 1 individual gaining overall control. What we have now are WS members contributing significant cash year on year to eventually buy a controlling interest and provide a financial reserve to help the club out when times get tough. If the club was living within its means then this extra income would not be required so no need for fans to continually contribute year on year.

Running the club at breakeven...no expectation of making a profit...if thats the plan to run a multi million pound turn over business then we really are fecked. Thats the problem we have, the club is facing the very real prospect of being run by the WS does anybody really think for a minute that they are up to it ? Like it or not the club is a business 1st and football club 2nd so it needs to be run like one ie proper plans in place to increase revenues, keep costs down, expand and develop playing staff and facilites etc. Oh and probably not all consortiums if any are Columbian drug cartels unless thats your experience of any you deal with.
-
would any well fan really mind if some group with cash to burn bought the club and invested a few quid. At least we would have proper business men running the club and not the bowling club committee that is the WS board.
-
That would be talking utter bollocks like you then.

The Rangers back in the top league the SFA and the spfl will be orgasmic, and sure enough 1st chance they get the fixtures are manipulated to suit the ugly sisters they dont give a feck about the other 10 clubs. 4 years ago when Rangers went bust we had the chance to change the set up and organisation of the league for the better but the clubs shat it so now its back to pandering to the ugly sisters to the detriment of every other club...were the last 4 years a dream as already it seems like they never happened

Is this the same Nico Kranjcar who has been pissing about in the NASL that great league where all players who are well past there sell by date go to boost their pensions, and Joey Barton who we are led to believe knocked back the chance to play in the EPL as he wanted to play for Rangers...aye right I bet every defender in the premier ship is shitting themselves at the prospect of facing up to those 2, I think not. Granted they were decent players at one time but both are well past there sell by date so nothing to fear from either of them, or for that matter the other 9 in the team, they are average at best.
-
must be for back up cover if true McGhee has already stated that Samson will be 1st choice keeper
-
Why would we be underdogs did you actually watch "The Rangers" as they are now known they are average at best with a shit defence. They won promotion to the premiership thats all the prize did not include a time machine to turn them back into a Rangers team from the 9 in a row years they are nothing special. The game will be an all premiership affair no different to playing Partick or St Johnstone so nothing to fear.
-
See labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn as an example.

We don't have a big enough squad to have the luxury of only being able to play players in soecific positions. Thats one of the issues i have with Ainsworth going forward when he is on his game he can be brilliant but he never tracks back and helps out defensively so whatever full back he is in front of is left badly exposed. On last seasons evidence there was nothing to suggest this will change come August so if he is not an effective addition to the team then he should be moved on, always assuming he wants to go and there is an offer in for him.
-
Its about time the club dumped the books and dragged itself into the 21st century and issued smart cards, bit of inital outlay to get the infrastucture up and running but it would save money in the long run.
-
No the members should be asking the questions and putting pressure on the WS to get the improvements made, its the members who vote the WS board in and its the members who can vote them out.
-
Lets be honest about Ainsworth 1 good game every 6 or 7 is not good enough he is not a regular starter every week so its obvious Mcghee is not overly impressed either. If another club is in with a half decent 6 figure bid then the club should take it, that plus the wages saved would be a decent wad of cash
-
No it wont,it will only work if the current amateur set up is dumped and they get competent professional people in place with the skill and ability to make the WS work, improved communications, recruirment etc, etc. Only then will they have a chance to meet their targets and end up running the club.
-
The prices are cheap because thats about the most they could charge people to go to that shite hole of a stadium, lower league prices for a lower league standard club
-
keep the faith guys "The Rangers"are average at best we have nothing to fear from that mob bring it on, a great chance to slap them down early doors and set the tone for the season.
-
Wring your knickers out, if he turns out shite we punt him and sign somebody else. Footballers with a Guarantee of ability when signing aye right its Moore not Messi
-
It will allow all of the Celtic fans in the US to join with their compatriots in Scotland to mix and share stories about their longing for the "Ou Country" the displaced masses have to stick together.
-
The only sensible tactics should be the same as they have always been ie go out and win the game then the other team gets feck all points. All this extra points for pen shoot out wins stuff is bollocks.

That's the fundamental problem Dave, this is not some local camera club they are running / hoping to run it a top flight football club generating significant amounts of revenue, large numbers of members etc etc. We need experienced full time people in place to administer it on a professional basis, I have no doubt that there will be opportunities for the ordinary fans to help out in some form, but the core functions of the WS, i.e recruitment, managing the membership, communication, setting strategies etc need to be done professionally by people able to devote their full time to the job, if that means hiring people then that's what needs to happen, only then does it have a chance to grow and succeed.
