  1. As far as i am concerned every Game we play is a must win nobody wants to see their team losing every week. We will pump this mob on Saturday.
  2. Are you the sports reporter for slimming world as your only opinion of players seems to be how much they weigh..get a grip ffs
  3. Presumably mcghee saw enough in Blyth to think that he would be a good additon to the team, hence the contract offer. He has not had much game time so i am assuming he is injured so in all honesty until we have seen him play on a more regular basis he cant really be judged based on his brief appearances so far.
  4. Aye too fat still cant work out how he ended up as league top scorer and player of the year..away and dont talk shite.
  5. They dont play for us anymore so why do you think anybody gives a feck what they do.
  6. who were you expecting, non league players are the market we can afford, if he turns out to be as good an ivestment as Johnson or Moult then it will be another good bit of business.
  7. Why a farce ? 300k is probably more than he was worth, just over 1 season at Fir park after a career in non league football has not turned him into a superstar
  8. 300k or 500k or whatever we got for Johnson is a massive improvement on the money we paid for him and moving on a player who clearly did not want to be at the club is a great bit of business for Motherwell.
  9. You do win games acoring 1 goal if you defend well and stop the other team scoring. Did not make the game today and have not seen any highlights yet but i bet that we sat too deep and defended in our own half and invited Rangers onto us. Thats not the way to see games out push forward and put them under pressure and defend in their half of the pitch you wont lose any goals with that tactic, especially in the last minute but sadly we never seem to learn and as a result for the 2nd week in a row we have ended up with nothing in the game
  10. Craig clay for me tackled well and has some pace, something our midfield badly lacks
  11. I actually thought Clay played a decent game today made a good few tackles and actually won the ball most times unlike his aging midfield partner Lasley who is as slow as a week in the jail now and is constantly chasing the game.
  12. we were worth at least a point there today the game was dire, all i would say is Ainsworth was subbed 75 mins too late he contributed nothing at all, and as for Thomas coming on for him, he never looked like doing anything either. But the worst for me was taking off Cadden our most effective player and bringing on Blyth its the 1st time i have seen him this season but he looked lost. Oh and can anybody tell me why Chalmers gets anywhere near the 1st team he is utter dross, surely we have better tban that to cover for Hammell
  13. you do know continuing to post balanced and reasonable comments like this wont make you popular on this forum dont you.
  14. And me i gave up on trips to Parkhead and Ibrox a long time ago.
  15. please do us all a favour and shut the fuck up about taxis unless the story involves Marvin Johnson getting in one to Brighton after payment of a 7 figure fee
  16. Thats a big blow to our chances if Ambrose is not playing he could be relied on to make at least 1 or 2 defensive errors every game.
  17. what was the deal with added time today the dunfermline game had 9 added, Falkirk 8 added us 6 mins..is this a new league or sfa directive that nobody knew about
  18. full time another opening day win great start to the season
  19. Picked up the new blue top today and they do seem to be slightly smaller made, would normally get a large but went for XL for a better fit. ps have to mention its a cracking top the long sleeve version looks great
  20. Goal from Marvin..about feckin time it was getting embarrassing
  21. Aye international duties so there will be no league games so no team selection worries for Faddy to agonise over...there do you feel better now.
  22. It all depends on what deal skippy signed up to for the year? The club may say yes to releasing him from the contract if the rumours are true to free up the wages and bring in another player on less money hence saving a few quid. If there is a transfer fee involved as well then all the better. McDonald has been a great asset to the club over the years so i would not grudge him a move back home if he is up for it, and if the deal results in the club making and / or saving a few quid tben all the better.
  23. At least if he was injured he would have an excuse for not producing. How many seasons is that now that we have been waiting for him to step up and make his mark on the 1st team and he never has.
  24. So when we finish top 6, a possible Euro spot and maybe a couple of later round cup matches we will be quids in then, lots of extra cash to add to the budget next season.
