Is it no a bit early in the day to be drinking
-
To be fair Lewandowski scored 2 and had chances to win it for Poland, but I take your point, a goalscorer for Scotland with a fraction of his talent would be a step in the right direction, but finding a player like that is another matter.
-
Found his Level, wonder if his Missus will be running a shitehole comparison series of tweets Motherwell or Kilmarnock
-
Totally agree That's the fundamental issue with Scotland, no goalscorer, most of the goals Scotland score are against the dross teams, like San Marino, Gibraltar and the like and even then its maybe only 1 or 2 when the better teams are hitting 5 and 6. The whole setup at the SFA is a shambles, Clarke is getting praise for doing a good job, when in reality he is tactically clueless. We need somebody in who will ditch all the has beens who have had their chance and bring in the young talent in in Scotland like Turnbull, Nisbet, Patterson, Gilmour etc to work with and develop alongside the core top players we have Robertson, Tierney, McTomminay, McGinn, might take a couple of years to build a team but it needs to happen. Oh and cut SOD some slack he's maybe not the best in the Scotland team but he's definitely not the worst.
-
Aye we could follow St Mirren's example and hoover up all the dross the other clubs don't want. Our marketplace for signing's is dictated by our budget, so that means lower leagues and non league, yes this means we are taking a bit of a punt sometimes but we have had some good business in recent years, kipre, Moult, Johnson, Hartley to name a few.
-
OK who would you have in at right back for Scotland then apart from SOD with over 20 caps behind him in experience? Clarke brought on the new Maldini if you believe the blue uglies for a 10 min run out, do you seriously think Patterson with only a handful of 1st team games would have coped starting against any of the other 3 teams in the group, I think not. SOD was in the squad on merit, starting all 3 games on merit and coped very well one or 2 dodgy moments but generally a decent 3 games, and we're it not for a great save from Pickford he could have had he winner v England, so why don't you cut him some slack.
-
Bit harsh he was no better or worse than the rest of the team, Scotland were outclassed big time tonight, no surprise at the result.
-
The quality of the opposition is irrelevant to Scotland in tournaments we are brutal against all levels of ability
-
Aye playing at being footballers, Croatia never got out of 2nd gear, Scotland were feckin brutal
-
Long never wanted to be at Fir park last season, he only re-signed as nobody else wanted him, so his commitment and attitude was questionable. Yes he scored a few goals but he was not good enough at premiership level. Dropping down to league 1 l will probably suit him as that's probably the level he's at ability wise
-
Jamie Vardy was 24 when Leicester signed him from non league Fteetwood Town and that worked out OK.
-
Not necessarily it seems he has two, this from his wiki page Justin Ikechukwu Obiora Amaluzor (born 17 October 1996) is an English footballer of Nigerian descent who plays as a forward, for Motherwell. He was previously known as Justin Nwogu.[3]

No from me re Patterson let the ugly sisters develop their own, they have the lowland league to look forward to, he's only played a handful of games and already he's the next Maldini or Baresi depending on which Rangers fan you listen to. If he was playing at any other club than the blue uglies he would be nowhere near the Scotland squad. Not saying he is not a good prospect but we have our own young players to develop.
-
He might still end up at Fir Park , every time we need a manager his da is always quoted
-
No Gallagher in the match day 23 again and Turnbull missing this time as well, can't see Gallacher getting any game time this tournament
-
You know its 2021 now don't you.
-
It's still not a good look on a shirt 52 years later.
-
No principles, just good taste
-
A two year deal according to the Burton Albion Web site, good luck to him he deserves it after the last 18 months he's had with Injury.
-
Game live on sky, 4.30 pm on the Sunday, here's hoping we are allowed back into Fir Park by then.
-
Scotland in comfortable possession aye OK, we did gave the ball away and if Marshall was where he was supposed to be ie near the goals the ridiculous long range effort as you call it would have been saved, his fault nobody else to blame.
-
It was never Hendrys fault, yes he could have passed the ball inside, but David Marshall was 100% to blame, wtf was a keeper doing 10 yards from the centre circle, when the ball was midway in the Czech half? If he had been in goals or at least on the 18 yard line, the Czech player would either not have tried the shot or If he did Marshall would have saved it easily. But fair play to schick it was a brilliant effort.
-
I am old enough but I honestly don't think we will be our usual glorious failures this time, just normal not good enough failures. Far better Scotland teams than this Current mob have failed to make the knockout stages and that run is not going to change anytime soon
-
Far too negative, but ultimately far too pish no threat up top, dodgy defending and wtf was Marshall doing that far up the pitch, let's face it Scotland are brutal, my TV was off after the 2nd goal. This was our best chance to get off to a flier and get 3 points, and effectively 1 foot in the knockout stages and as usual we fecked it up, we won't get any points in the group England and Croatia to come will see to that.

BBC listed 12 subs and Gallagher was not one of them.
