A mixed bag for us today. St Mirren played us at our own game and they were pretty good at it. Looking at the BBC stats we matched each other blow for blow. Positives We still managed to dominate possession. First 20 mins we could have been out of sight. We kept right going to the end and got a reward Passing accuracy was over 90%. Generally we need to be above 85% to take something but St Mirrens was also 84% Lowry was excellent Negatives Lost most 50/50 balls Didn't create much with superior possession Defensively all over the place at times. Longlleo too often squared it when a few times he should have had a go cos himself cos hes got a good shot on him. A draw was a fair result but huge room for improvement after first 20 mins. No ones writing European Football off, some say its a bonus because we will never win and it is. Doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy it or celebrate it while it lasts Its a reward for a good domestic season. Would I rather be in Group stage of the Conference League or win the League Cup. Give me a Trophy in the Trophy Cabinet every day of the week. Trophys are permanent, getting fucked out of any competition at any stage is temporary / transitional . In a 100 years time historians looking back wont be looking at European tournaments that we will always get put out of at some point , invariably in the early rounds or indeed wont qualify for all that often, whereas Trophy's in the Trophy Cabinet they will. Winners are remembered participants are forgotten. With the attitude some of our fans have to the two Trophys we stand a chance of winning we should perhaps put in a filing cabinet rather than a trophy cabinet in any new ground / main stand.

We now have a squad that looks strong and if we get the boy Kanga this could be a right good season if we get it right in the early weeks to settle us down - and no squad rotations for the Scottish Cup, strongest possible team. With the injuries easing there is alot to look forward too. The game on Sunday is massive for settling us down.

Europe will always be a bonus nothing more. We should always strive to qualify because that means good domestic form. However its not something the club will bank on.

In both game until sending offs score would have been alot closer had it not been for two sending offs. Not saying we'd have gone through but until then in both games we were doing OK. Nowt to be down about. The only black spot so far was Stenhousemuir.

St Mirren are very much trying to emulate the style we adopted last season. Be interesting to watch two teams who will be trying to play a similar syle.

Maswanhise isnt going anywhere, no one will pay our asking price based on the pish hes served up of late. Thor needs a chance, Hendry and Jordan McGhee are a waste of a wage and need to go. Stama is pish he can go too.

Well we shouldnt tar everyone so in fairness have Cameras facing all 3 stands and if there is no misbehaviour there great media content to choose from.

I think it easier than that. Have the media team focus their cameras on the pitch side as they do normally , every person caught invading the field is banned and their photograph displayed in the ground, if they circumvent the ban they can be removed.
