The chances of the latter giving Celtic the equaliser compared to the former is 5% against 95%. Its just a bad judgement call no matter how its dressed up.

I never thought I'd live to see the day where a Motherwell keeper would emulate Stevie Woods horrendous fuck up when we were on the verge of putting Rangers out the Cup in 1998 but there you go. Ward now has now made the "Worst Goalkeeping Fuck Up Ever" a joint Motherwell award.
 -
	Pretty much how I feel.
 -
The luck they always have against us? is it luck. How many times have we lost games against Celtic in injury time over the last few years?
 -
Correct , in any type of play a keeper of ANY standard should be able to deal with that today. He just made an horrendous error of judgement. Sadly too many have been happening to him . The dropped ball against Kilmarnock was not because of our style of play. The two goals against Hearts were not because of our style of play. They were all basic goalkeeping errors. I suspect there will be a finite level of the number of basic errors the manager will accept.

Wooo dismissing St Mirren at our peril. 😂😂
 -
We've also got to remember that's was not our strongest team.
 -
I'm not going overboard about how we now play but I'd far rather watch what we are watching to the boot and rush shite we see far too often. In days gone by fans would fork out £36 for zero attacks, zero shots and an endless stream of blooter it anywhere. Those who went today at least had something to get behind.

Correct the pass he made straight to the Celtic player was just plain wrong, there wasn't a Motherwell player waiting to receive it.
 -
I would disagree in part. In the system we play we need a keeper who is comfortable playing at the back. There were numerous times today we opened up good space based on playing from the keeper across the back opening up big spaces in the midfield. What we need is a keeper whose judgement is more focused, play out from the back as part of the new system but when we have an opposition player just about inside our man's shorts the keeper does not play the ball to him. In todays fuck up the keeper wasn't even passing it to a Motherwell man, had it not gone straight to the Celtic player there wasn't a Motherwell player waiting in open space for it. It was just a complete and utter mental cluster fuck and horrendous judgement from the keeper.

Wards judgement has been sadly lacking in a number of games even accounting for some excellent saves. I'm not so sure OX has what the manager wants in terms of the style we play but you are correct a keeper can't keep making bad judgement calls. I've got a feeling he will stick with Ward. Remember the managers line "players need to know its OK to make a mistake".. The frequency might change that view mind you.

I think we are more than capable of defending a lead. Teams have not overtured our leads because we are playing badly. They are being handed individual gifts. At this moment primarily by the goalkeeper. That in itself is an easier fix than having to rework a system because a team cant work well with it. We obviously can work well with it. No one absolutely no one has played us off the park including Celtic. So there is more to be optimistic about even as sore as that was today. That wasn't our strongest team by some measure and all but for a couple if individual mistakes, (Keeper and Priestman) we'd have got something today. Sorry for Ward that he will take all the blame but Priestman will get off scot free today and he was shocking at the 3rd goal.
 -
Exactly it's his judgement in question at the moment not the style of play we have adopted.
 -
I know it's hard for folk to see it right now and I in no way excuse his shocker but he had some outstanding saves, we could have been down and out before his fuck up.
 -
You can keep playing balls out from the back all game, nothing wrong with that. What you need is good judgement not to play the ball to a man inside the box if their is an opponent just about in his shorts. If there is no option / player in safe space to play out from the back you need to go long. Doesn't need a wholesale abandonment on a style that actually creates alot of space. The reason we got alot of space in the first 60/65 mins is because we played it our from the back and got the ball into good space.
 -
Correct Ward will take the heat off Priestman for his absolute fuck all effort to prevent the 3rd goal. Stood with his finger up his arse admiring the view as the Celtic player strode into the box to receive the pass to set up the goal. Osong is utterly dreadful too

26 years old, signed 12 different contracts since being with us, been utter shite in every one other than his 10 game burst at Motherwell. He's the reason it's sometimes better to jump at the big payday. A 4 year contract with Rangers on a reputed 5 grand a Week. Should be a wealthy young man whose done fuck all to merit a life changing contract. But hey good luck to him wish I could get my money as easy.
 -
I would imagine, if sustained, the first significant upturn in attendances in 20 years will also reinforce that fans want entertained. The die hards like myself will turn up every week no mater the shite on show but fans who pick n choose need more than blind loyalty to part with £25 every second week.
 -
This is our marker for the league title 😁😜
 -
I think we stand a better chance of a result against Celtic than we've done for a while because we won't just keep giving them possession every two seconds. Will still be a huge effort to get anything but Id rather face them playing as we are than the usual boot and run we usually play against them.
 -
It's pleasing the fans are responding... For so long home crowds have stuck around 4/4500. It's good for the players to see fans responding to the better stuff we are watching
 -
You are probably right but they are bang average. They don't look like a top 6 team either, however they have financial resources and that will always helps . Mind you the £20 million they have spent so far isnt showing much return.
 -
Correct , hopefully it will turn for him, he works hard .. me ? Im not convinced by him. .
 -
Enjoyed that again tonight, just proves with the style we play patience is a virtue. Thought Aberdeen had best chances first half but thought we dominated the second half. Anyone hear what the crowd wad tonight.
 -
Aberdeen at this moment in time are pish. Utterly dreadful. We should be looking to heap more misery on them. Their defending against Dundee Utd was fuckin dreadful and if we had our shooting boots on last Saturday we would have beat them 3 or 4 -1. If we lose on Saturday it will be because we didn't perform not because Aberdeen suddenly become good.
