  1. Tha'ts how Id see it , I don't see us winning any of the away games. We cant score so home draws are the most I see us getting. Could that keep us safe heres my stab at the fixtures Round 1 Motherwell versus St J - Draw Hearts v Dundee - Home win Kilmarnock v Ross County - Home Win .. that bloody pitch helping them Round 2 Dundee v Motherwell - Home Win Ross County V Hearts - Draw St J v Kilmarnock - Home win Round 3 Hearts v Motherwell - Home Win Kilmarnock v Dundee - Home Win St Johnstone v Ross County - Draw Round 4 Dundee v Ross County - Home Win Hearts v St Johnstone - Home Win Motherwell v Kilmarnock - Draw Round 5 Kilmarnock v Hearts - Home Win Ross County v Motherwell - Home Win St Johnstone v Dundee - Draw in the highly unlikely event this happened the table would finish like this and thats forecasting an utterly dire run in for us. Hearts 50 Kilmarnock 45 Motherwell 41 Dundee 41 Ross County 40 St Johnstone 36 Just a bit of fun, but even with only 2 points we could still escape the dreaded 11th, this scenario also sees St Johnstone gaining points every week but is extremely unlikely.
  2. Normally we should get 19 homes games but I think Hearts being in the bottom 6 will have a knock on effect as they would not have been factored to be in the bottom six when the 33 game campaign was being drawn up. https://spfl.co.uk/news/post-split-qa-season-202324#:~:text=All clubs play 16 or,at home and 19 away.
  3. If StJ face Dundee first game after the split and beat them then they are within 2 points of Dundee. Too early to write StJ off
  4. Fair point. The fact everyone cuts everyone's throat post split thats what might save us and by god we need all the help we can get cos we are rank rotten.
  5. I could see Dundee winning 3 of the last 5 , us at Dens, St Johnstone and Ross County are not hugely difficult asks for them. They have Simon Murray who is on fire this season , we have players who couldn't start a fire with a box of matches. Edit: maybe no Dundees defence is fuckin shocking. Hibs tore them apart😁😁😁Dundee have now conceded 71 goals , thats a shocking stat. Normally based on the fixtures this season we should be away to Dundee, Hearts and Ross County. However we've only had 16 home games pre split so we might end up getting 3 at home. I know its not an exact science and a lot of permeables but 3 homes games would be a real bonus. Hearts being in the bottom 6 would not have been in the SPFL calculator so could throw a spanner in the works.
  6. Wouldn't disagree with any of them but in no way means we should keep him. Depending on Dundees result today means our rebuilding could be a lot more difficult than it looks right now.
  7. Oh I agree Miller has been border line awful for a number of weeks but I thought yesterday he won a lot, broke up a lot of the Hearts play, yeah sure he hit some wayward passes but tell me a Motherwell player who didn't. Thompson should never darken our door again a dreadful player and Hearts knew it they pressed down our left most of the game cos they know hes poor.
  8. Casey, O'Donnell and Miller were our best players. We were better than we have been but we are totally ineffective from the half way line forward. We better pray we don't get Hearts away 1st game after the split or we are in real bother.
  9. Another draw at best day, I just don't rate our squad.
  10. Dundee Utd fans aint impressed either.
  11. If St Mirren are beating RC comfortably I hope Hearts beat us LOL, I detest St Mirren with a passion. Maybe not we might need the points in the relegation fight LOL
  12. its achievable for a team with heart , guts , determination and organisation... that is us fucked out on all accounts.
  13. Hope those continually screaming for us to get Alan Campbell back are watching this Hearts v Dundee Utd game. Subbed totally anonymous.
  14. Over turn the red and keep him suspended would be ideal 😉 , hes fuckin murder.
  15. if Hearts draw their superior goal difference will make it almost impossible for Motherwell or St Mirren to catch them. We'd need a swing of 19 goals to overhaul them if they get a draw today. Edit I stand corrected I'm looking at a live table. I thought they had 40 points before todays game. still immaterial we ain't getting top 6.
  16. In my Heat of Hearts I think we will too but it just wouldn't surprise me if we completely collapse because basically our squad is piss poor. Dundee play Hibs away next week, Kilmarnock are away to Celtic and St Johnstone are away to Dundee Utd, St Mirren and RC play each other. If we can come out of next weekend relatively unscathed we may only need 3 /4 points to keep us out of 11th but as I said would it surprise me if we capitulate ? no it wouldnt.. I think it will be a season ending where we hope those in 11th and 12th run out of games to catch us. We could of course make it easy for ourselves and get into the top 6 - alright it was just a joke.
  17. Unlikely but most certainly not off the table, we are an absolutely turgid watch and frankly I have zero confidence in the shower of wasters who represent us.
  18. we need a win next week to ease relegation fears , fuck all about the top 6. Is it better that Hearts win today and secure top 6 meaning they have fuck all to play for next week ?
  19. That was a shocking result for us in our current form. We need a lot more than a decent goalkeeper.
  20. Kilmarnock were piss poor but they were all over us when it was 11 v 11. We rarely got out our own half. Back pass boot long, rinse and repeat , that was all we did before and after the sending off. There is every chance they'd still have beaten us. We were absolutely abysmal before and after the sending off and using the sending off ass an excuse papers over an utterly shocking plays. Halliday at the first goal was utterly laughable. Thinking he is a player pissing about on the edge of the box leading to the chaos that resulted in the goal.
  21. Hearts will secure top 6 tomorrow , and we are in for a real struggle to stay out of the play off spot.
  22. The most worrying part is we played exactly the same way against Aberdeen and St Mirren , we are utter garbage.
  23. This squad is shite, don't know how often they need to display it before its accepted as true,
  24. That the most worrying point for me, Kilmarnock were fuckin abysmal but we were never beating them even with 11 men. The standard of our play and decision making was beyond parody today.
