  1. It has nothing to do with the manager our crowds have been in this ball park area for 15 years.
  2. Thats a lot better if that 6000 is just the home fans. If Its the total its piss poor with Utd bringing 2000. We really need to be getting crowds of 7/7500 home gates out with the OF on a semi regular basis when teams like Aberdeen , Hibs, Hearts &, Dundee Utd bring around 2000 fans. That is what St Mirren are getting and it surely isn't beyond Motherwell but I still have my doubts whether we can achieve it - and please no unsubstantiated pish that St Mirrens increased gates are all down to freebies.
  3. I hope you are right, but find it hard to believe - even we - would advertise seats as available when they are not. Would lead to absolute carnage at the games. One of my biggest concerns abut the club is how stubborn our crowd numbers are to shift. We rarely rise above 4500 or below 3500 home fans whereas a few clubs seem to see bigger swings in the good times. I do think its crazy that fans cant just rock up on the day of most league games and have to go to the ticket office beforehand. No other business would make it so difficult for fans to part with their money. If anyone is on the Well Society board or knows someone who is can they ask why the club just cant have a QR code on the wall beside the turnstiles where folk scan the code get their ticket and get in (I do accept not everyone has a mobile phone but even in these days that must be less than 1% of the population).
  4. East Stand and Cooper stand here , blue seats are available , piss poor
  5. Live on TV hasn't stopped 2000 Dundee Utd fans buying tickets. Seriously our support needs a real shock.
  6. Just looked at the available seats in the Motherwell stands for Friday night and if accurate our uptake in seats has been dreadful.
  7. Robinson never ever looks if hes in control of his feet or the ball.
  8. I switched off after Aberdeen scored I couldn't stomach watching that utter dross any longer. Dont care what team we are playing no player should be able to run 75 yards and score. Robinson is an utter lightweight.
  9. There is no way we were rotten. We did what we needed to do without reaching the heights of the Hearts game.
  10. Just back from the game. Good Motherwell support there who backed the team well. We were in total control of this game until St Johnstone equalised. We became a wee bit disjointed for a period after that but got the win we probably deserved. No absolute stand outs for man of the match, no failures but I'd give it to either Casey or Graham. Probably Casey for his hand in the winner.
  11. considering the damage Celtic fans do on every visit there should be hundreds banned.
  12. I agree , I think this will be a harder game than the Jambos game. I think StJ have looked not too bad in the games I've seen, how they contrived to lose to DU was baffling they were the better team. Saving grace one of their front guys, who has looked a bit nifty will be suspended. I'd take a point now would love three.
  13. He's never been as bad as some of our boo boys would have you believe. He went through some sticky patches but he always gives 100% and frankly deserves credit for sticking with it when some might have stuck two fingers up when he got pelters.
  14. No surprise to me 😜Hearts were the shite I said they were. I take nothing away from us today though. Our work rate was outstanding. The defence were solid only wee blip when we stood off them for 15 mins. Had it not been for Craig Gordon we'd have pumped them 5 or 6 - 1. Halliday had an excellent first half and Stephen O'Donnell put in some shift for a man of his age. Wilson was outstanding. No failures anywhere in what was probably the best footballing performance we've put in months.
  15. I've just got a feeling about this one that we can win this. I'm generally on the "glass half empty" side of things. I've seen all Hearts games and they don't impress me. It will be difficult but I get the sense our defence is better this year ( yeah I know kiss of death). I'm going for a victory by a single goal margin. Watched Dundee Utd v St Johnstone today. Fuck me Utd are utter pish how the fuck they won that game 2-0 I'll never know.
  16. I agree, when I listen to them its just sounds like the "angels" in the Green Brigade who are always the victims. There is no doubt the Guys in E Block do add to the atmosphere and try and liven it up but I've seen plenty incidents where they act like complete arseholes in and outside the ground and the minute police and stewards intervene we get "Heavy Hands Empty Stands" I must be an odd supporter, I've managed to go home and away for 46 years, been pished on a few trips but have never been so much as looked at by the police or the stewards, wonder why they don't pick on me ?? they have had 46 years to do it and you'd think if the police / stewards / club apparently target people for nothing I would have had some sort of altercation in the approx 2100 games I've attended.
  17. All is not well in Section E. Anyone have any details what the gripe is. From what I can see E Block think the Club just want to ban guys for no reason. that cant be right surely? https://x.com/BlockE2019/status/1827251139059818955

  20. ah my mistake , my apologies to all for talking shite, not for the first time.
  21. we must have been t different places lol , we were there at 1pm and there were plenty seats and tables where we were. Are we talking about the same place. The area across the road from the club offices outside the 100 clubr
  22. I was in it on Sunday and there were easily 10/12 tables to seats 6 at each table.
  23. Was in it on Sunday and yeah it was good, suspect with our climate opportunities to use it will be limited.
  24. If anyone thinks the Rangers fans do as much damage to Fir Park they are utterly delusion if not blind. I'm no lover of Rangers I despise them but Celtic are without doubt the most destructive fans we ever host.
