  1. Gallagher was very very good last night, strolled it at times.
  2. He’s been awful since coming on to be fair.
  3. That has to be close to a record low home support for Dundee, can’t be more than a 1000 home supporters in the ground.
  4. Yep, not the time to start being judge and jury.
  5. Excellent news, not everyone’s cup of tea but he always puts in a shift and is full of energy.
  6. He’s made it plain up he wants to move back down south and Motherwell is just a stepping stone. He’s certainly got a decent skill set and is improving but he’s hardly blowing the division apart.
  7. Yep I sort of feel the same way.
  8. I would be looking for nearer one million for Gallagher. We definitely need to be signing a centre forward if we want to looking at Europe next season, we simply have no one to fill that position that’s going to get the goals we need to stay in the top three. Is European football actually worth much financially ? not sure but we certainly gain financially by finishing higher up the league and it would surely also attracts better players for next season, certainly if we are playing in Europe.
  9. I’ve just replaced my older iPad with a new one and there is a huge difference when loading the site.
  10. I would certainly think it’s sensible given he’s likely to now be our number one from next season anyway. I don’t think there is anything between the two of them anyway.
  11. Delighted to see one of them sign, nothing wrong with Carson.
  12. No I think Scott would also be on a lucrative contract at Bristol City.
  13. He’s no Louis Moult.
  14. The big risk for Scott would be he would never get near the first team and just go backwards, he’s an absolute mile away from championship level down south. He does need to balance out the initial financial benefit to himself but he’s young and long term I feel he would end up losing out. Hastie obviously hit the financial jackpot short term but again when looking at his career over the next ten years time will tell. There are always the unknowns such as a career changing injury and I get that but many moves don't end up been the smart option.
  15. Scott is not ready in my view and would struggle down south the same way Hastie has, not a good move for anyone at this point.
  16. Yep it’s been an amazing first half of the season and every one of us would have taken third at this point ( I would have taken sixth personally). The January window is now the key, a couple of cracking signings and we’re well in the mix for that third spot.
  17. I can’t see why Carson would want to consider Livi if he was first choice with us again so yes that’s the route I would be going down.
  18. I can’t see Sloth getting on the bench if he’s “ a crock”, that’s just not the way Robinson works, he’s all about fitness levels. I don’t see how any of us can make a judgement on Sloth and who he is better than given his lack of game time. Personally I’m happy to trust Robinson’s judgement on players, he’s got most things right over the last 12 months.
  19. I’m not a fan of McGuire in midfield, he’s a centre half for me, we need another midfielder for sure. Agree regarding Long, his biggest weakness is his ability, or lack of to hold the ball up and also that Scott is not ready to play centrally. I’m really hoping we sign a genuine central striker in the Moult mould.
  20. Gillespie but the bar was not set high
  21. It looked more like 5-4-1 at times to me. Regarding Campbell there was a particular challenge in the second half just in front of the Hunter stand where he just pulled out looking totally knackered, looked to have no energy at all and we wondered if he had been suffering with a virus.
  22. Motherwell fans going at it with each other near me in the Hunter stand. Then a guy starts filming it on his phone which ended up with him nearly getting a doing from one of them. It all went very soap opera and was frankly more entertaining than watching the fare on offer on the pitch. I’m still trying to block that second half out of my memory, even worse that it was against a team with one win in 13, then even more terrible given it was Accies. Their fans must be asking why they can’t play like that more often.
