  1. It looked more like 5-4-1 at times to me. Regarding Campbell there was a particular challenge in the second half just in front of the Hunter stand where he just pulled out looking totally knackered, looked to have no energy at all and we wondered if he had been suffering with a virus.
  2. Motherwell fans going at it with each other near me in the Hunter stand. Then a guy starts filming it on his phone which ended up with him nearly getting a doing from one of them. It all went very soap opera and was frankly more entertaining than watching the fare on offer on the pitch. I’m still trying to block that second half out of my memory, even worse that it was against a team with one win in 13, then even more terrible given it was Accies. Their fans must be asking why they can’t play like that more often.
  3. An absolute cluster of a second half, at 1-1 I was quite happy for the ref to blow the final whistle. I found the subs totally baffling, Hartley surely should have replaced Mugabi who was all over the place by that point and Seedorf centrally on his own ? Probably as bad a half of football from us in a long time, second to just about every ball, their goalkeeper had nothing to do and Robinson got it totally wrong today and has to take a big chunk of responsibility.
  4. Have to say although I’m not feeling well I’m really looking forward to it. Our players must be full of confidence just now.
  5. It would fit our often used recruitment process so would not be surprised. http://www.robinsnestforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27261
  6. I’m guessing another player from down south.
  7. I tried to persuade the wife yesterday with the hospitality package, she was not biting.
  8. We were in the main stand, I would say the majority of those around us were elderly supporters who had supported Rangers for decades mixed in with a few parents with children. There was a lot of anti catholic bile aimed at officials and sometimes opposition players along with just a torrent of abuse at some of their own players and management. Even decent Rangers fans just seemed to see this as the norm. We finally packed it in after the play off game against Motherwell. As you know I support a guy with disabilities to the games, he had a different support that evening only because I was away on holiday. A drunk guy with a small child started abusing him and was eventually thrown out but that was enough, he was never comfortable with the atmosphere and the mentality of those around him.
  9. Before my time but possibly another Ross Mc type risk ?
  10. We wish, well some of us.
  11. Perfectly possible given they would both walk in to many teams. I can see them both getting better deals elsewhere.
  12. Really quite strange comments. As fairly new supporters of the club we don’t recognise any of these statements. Well fans in general tend to be very friendly and it’s very much a family oriented club, never had a problem with anyone. In our two seasons at a Rangers those around us were mostly older individuals who spent the whole game spouting hatred. Are Rangers fans blind to what goes on around them.
  13. Has Robinson been named Scottish manager of the season yet ?
  14. Sloth, Cole, maybe Carson. I would hope we see a striker coming in.
  15. The’ve won their last two home games against a Hibs and Killy so not that poor.
  16. I think though you can’t take that dreadful Livi pitch out of the equation along with the virus. I’m expecting another close game that could go either way.
  17. Obviously never going to be easy but the scouts have done it before. So we either just accept it’s an impossibility or hope we are able to uncover another gem. I guess my rationale is do we stick with someone we pretty much know will never score a hatful of goals, or take a punt on someone else who may also not score a hatful of goals, or they just might ?
  18. Only Rangers have beaten Kilmarnock at home in the league this season so I think we can’t underestimate this result, not at the game so can’t comment on the performance but for me a big 3 points with another two very winnable games coming up. It’s turning into a very exciting season with the very real possibility of European football next season.
  19. He has certainly improved so well done to the club for that. However I can’t say I’ve been over impressed with him and personally would probably have preferred not extending the loan anyway. We don’t have a natural goalscorer in the squad this season so hopefully they can come up with someone who will fit the bill.
