If you read their social media threads St Mirren fans are supremely confident of disposing of us. Id love to know what their arrogance is based on.

They nearly threw the game away in the second half today but they do look a good team so I can see where their “arrogance” come from.
That said I also think that, on the whole, we have a team capable of knocking them out if things go our way.

  2. Dundee signing Carson is a bit of a strange one having just signed Norwich keeper Jon McCracken (a Wishaw boy) on loan.

I’d have thought they will be paying a fair whack of his wage which I don’t think will be cheap and Carson will be on a decent wage so quite a bit of cash for one of them to sit on the bench seems crazy to me.

……but the problem being, they come to Fir Park and what will they do to the seating etc in that stand….

Same as they and their arse cheek twins always do which is smash some of them up and their club will do what they always do by paying to get the damage fixed - it what Celtic and Rangers do

  4. I understand the principle of the one off development fee or going for a sell on fee instead but I seem to recall a story a few years back about an a mature team from Aberdeenshire getting something like &100k for a player who they had as a kid who had been picked up by a pro club who in turn sold him on to an English club before they then sold him on again for big money and this was where the £100k came from. In short this makes me think that potentially we get some cash - all be it small amounts - every time the player is transferred.

and we net something like £400k which is reasonable.

    I’m assuming that’s a development fee.
Since he under 23 and we have offered him a contract extension, are we entitled to any further sell on fees at a later date or is it the £400k and that’s it?

  6. Every year teams like us, with a limited budget, have to wait while players decide what offer to accept or hold out in hope of a better offer elsewhere. Some of these players are of a better quality but others just think they are.
As frustrating it is for us, it must be worse for the manager & staff trying to get the deal’s done.
Wether the guys already signed are good enough as starter’s remains to be seen but - while we try to persuade others to join us - I think it’s better to have them rather than scrambling around at the last minute picking from the leftovers.

Since moving O'Donnell into the wingback position he has looked like the player he was when picked for Scotland so to describe him as horrific is just plain daft.

I've never seen us play well on that pitch and silky football is just impossible so the long ball game was inevitable.

You can hardly blame the midfield when the ball is continually getting fired over their heads in each direction.

The only criticism I would level is that the substitutions could have been made earlier.

Agree, SOD was my MotM last night.
The lack of substitutes after 60 minutes was worrying as we could all see that Livingston were getting on top and something needed changing - that frightens me for next season.

He's often given the impression of not giving a fuck when he's playing for us so I'd have him out the door at the first opportunity.

With that logic you will want rid of KVV as well then ‘cause at times he also gives that impression

Im sorry you have had a negative experience. No excuses for that.

Not sure having a go at Grizzly G is the appropriate response though. He is probably the least offensive person on these forums.

You have read some of his jokes, haven’t you?

I've already said earlier, I don't think he fits the game / style SK wants to play, plus he'll be back down to Leeds in 5 games to get released if they go down so why all the fuss.

If we're in the market to extend the loan and / or sign him permanently then maybe he has a future under SK but as he's not featured under him so far I don't think that's the case, he'll be part of the summer clearance sale.

I think he’s worth signing if possible. The guys still learning and I think he will become a great asset to whoever signs him. If we don’t get him I think we run the risk that he ends up at one of our competitors and give us a torrid time.
