As you bought the tickets via your MFC ticketing account, you should’ve received a confirmation email from MFC. As others note, the tickets should appear on your Hampden app before the game.
Celtic only won because a ridiculous mistake gifted them the equaliser and lifted their tails. Our weak bench didn’t help either, but we still should have seen out at least a draw, especially as they were generally poor compared to previous seasons.
You can make any point by freezing a moment out of context. But I don’t think this proves anything beyond the fact that a 10-yard pass to Watt wasn’t an option. There’s playing the passing game, there’s giving hospital passes in your own six-yard box, and then there’s just making an arse of it.
Ward’s pass didn’t go astray. There was no forward option to a Motherwell player and he played it straight to a Celtic player. That was poor judgement, not a by-product of the style of play, which doesn’t preclude making a sensible clearance when no options are available.
You could argue that he’s doing the basics, making the saves you’d expect him to make, but then undoing it all with mistakes he simply shouldn’t be making. Those errors have already cost us too many points this season, and it just can’t go on.
Bombscare goalie, a weak bench, and pure naivety. It undoes all the good we show and it can’t go on. We’ve got three winnable games before the semifinal and we need at least 6–7 points to lift us for the cup game.
We’ve stuck with Ward after his previous mistakes so we’ve only got ourselves to blame today. His error killed us (again) and gave them the lift they needed to turn the screw.
