Got it. You know Mr Ashgar through a friend, so you told him to stick it. And it was Ashgar's PERSONAL invite, so you were telling him personally to stick it - not only insulting him personally, but also the friend who introduced you. And after personally insulting him (and your friend) you thought you could choose "not to offend him" by accepting the invitation you had just told him to rectally ingest? You've persuaded me.
-
Do you not even read your own posts? You said you told them to "stick it" Now you are going to "email them back and accept"? Looking forward to seeing the pics of you and the players - not to mention the match ball, Not sure why the match ball sponsor will be letting you take it, but maybe they are protesting against the profiteers too. Are you getting there by private jet or are the club organising a helicopter?

I think Yodo's the first poster I've seen complain about signing a player at his peak.
-
I was thinking maybe we were trying to raise money by opening a new Escape Room.
-
So just to be clear, you complained that the ticket prices were blatant profiteering so they offered to make good by giving you free food, free drink, free tickets and a free match ball? But you turned that down because, rather than take advantage of hospitality with some of your fellow 'Well fans (and there are always a fair number of away fans in every hospitality suite) AND the free tickets, you instead chose to support their profiteering by paying the full price you complained about? Story checks out as true.

Noticed this today in an article about VAR and it's impact on the game.

That's one of the things I've complained about, so no argument here. Also, the first season ticket I bought in 1984 got you entry into every home game. That included any home cup tie and every pre-season friendly. The reserve matches were usually scheduled to be played at Fir Park the same time the first team was playing away, so your season ticket got you into those games too.

If you can be bothered trawling through my previous 19, 896 posts you'll see that calling out prices is one of many things I've done. Also called out are plastic pitches, stupid kick-off times, the league split, treatment of away fans, overzealous stewards, tv payments, prize money, Neil Doncaster and ditching the Old Firm.
-
If you can't get an under 11 ticket, maybe someone will give you a lift over the turnstyle.
-
If the authorities cared about the paying public, we wouldn't have plastic pitches, 6:15pm (or noon Sunday) kick-offs or Willie Collum.
-
You'd hope so - otherwise, what's the point of having it?
-
It certainly is. On at least one occasion I've seen a VAR penalty decision given after the final whistle and the ref restarted the game and let them take it.
-
They're only supposed to look at play during the "phase" that led up to the goal. In the case of Aberdeen's first goal that lasted about 10 seconds. The fact we didn't manage a tackle during it made it even easier to decide.
-
Certainly was. On the stream today the first Aberdeen goal looked comfortably onside in real time. They confirmed that in the replay within 10 seconds or so. I have no idea what took VAR so long as it was one of the easiest decisions they'll need to make.
-
All submissions subject to video review by an old bloke having a beer with his lunch. Take your pick...
-
Did the VAR official fall asleep or is it going to take 2 mins for every decision? That was so obviously onside it should have taken about 5 seconds.

After I moved the US in 1997, despite many trips back to Scotland, I didn't see us win a home game until we beat Hibs 3 - 0 in 2019! I saw us win away a few times, and plenty of draws at Fir Park, but I was starting to wonder if I'd ever see a home win again.
-
Is it just me, or is our assistant gaffer looking more and more like Andy Bell.

Effords is the new Humphreys

I'll be happy if we are just better in our own box. That has to be the foundation for any success.
-
I've said a few times that I thought Baraclough set the perfect tone for the play-offs, with the team and the media. It's also interesting to note that after a poor first half of that season, our form picked up shortly after Robinson joined Baraclough as assistant in February.

Goes live on the Friday night game and the rest of us get the pleasure over the weekend.

As long as Big Kev is playing we must be favourites. We have a decent record against them in recent seasons, even when our form hasn't been great - so looking forward to this one. Just hope VAR doesn't wreck it.

Just call me Nostradamus. (Or don't - because I already predicted what you are going to call me...)
