The trouble is we don't have a lot of time sadly,relegation is a real threat this season.the squad is a shambles and putting a rookie manager in charge was a gamble that we should never have took.

Exactly as fans we all know Kelly's biggest weakness is in the air but the buck stops with the manager for me,surely he can see that allowing the opposition to fire endless crosses into the box won't end well,I can't believe that as a full backs,hammell and before him alexander allow this to happen but if indeed hammell is instructing the full backs to shut down the crosses but there to lazy to do then they shouldn't be in the team.

School boy defending is crucifying us and if we keep it up between now and the end of the season we will be in serious danger of relegation.it doesn't matter if it's against better opposition like tonight or against the likes of kilmarnock if you can't defend then you have no chance.

I couldn't agree more,its madness to allow the opposition all the time they want to put crosses into the box,it's cost us time and time again but for whatever reason we have no willingness to change.

the standard of goals we concede every game is pitiful,it looks like we don't work on anything to even try and defend as a team.

I have no faith in us at the back,so don't see us getting anything from this,hopefully we can make enough of a game of it though that it doesn't impact on the confidence too much.we really need to start finding some consistency and put more points on the board,the livi game could take on even more importance if other results go against us tonight.

Aye he's absolutely shite,we simply have to find a right winger from somewhere in january,it's like playing with 10 men every week with him in the team,we can't go the next half of the season playing him,enough is enough.

Spot on,we don't have the players to play 4-4-2,it's the last formation we could actually switch to with the personnel we have.we don't have the wide men for it and the thought of going with two central midfielders is crazy.i think at the very least to play 4-4-2 you need to have players that are mobile and put themselves about and that's something we definitely don't have.like you I think we need to stick to what we're doing or a variation of that and hopefully we can bring in a couple of players in January that will help us function more as a team.

Good point,even if we are able to bring in 3 or 4 players that can go straight into the first team that will only get us so far,we need to be getting a lot more out the current squad,the standard of goals we give away is actually laughable,I was hoping hammell would be able to make us a bit more defensively sound but so far there has been no evidence of that happening.our home form is a serious issue now,we keep hearing that we want to make fir park a fortress but if we can't beat ten man kilmarnock when were two up,what chance do we have.

I wanted alexander out the door as soon as possible after the Sligo games but we can't keep blaming him for the here and now,I totally agree the squad is pretty dire but hammell needs to start getting a tune out of what he currently has and so far he hadn't done it,were absolutely brutal at the back,being a defender himself,he should be making us harder to beat for a start but yet were still conceding an average of two goals a game.we took the gamble on signing two crocks that are now no longer with us cause there injured again,that buck stops with hammell,we can't be taking such gambles in January,I would say we need a minimum of four players to come into the starting line up but with hammells comments that doesn't look like remotely happening.

I love hammell as much as the next fan and would love him to succeed but right now there's a lot of naivity on show,I get he was chucked in at the deep end and he's learning on the job but we're witnesses the same mistakes over and over,were almost certainly going to end up in a relegation scrap and need to eradicate the mistakes before it's to late,that tonight isn't acceptable on any level,to be coasting against a poor side with a man less and only coming away with a point could easily come back to haunt us.i really hope hammell and the recruitment team have been working overtime to improve the team in January,we don't need anymore jersey fillers and players with dodgy track records with injuries

The game should have been over at 2-0 even before the sending off,it's results like this that will see us battling relegation this season.there needs to be serious questions asked why we're so consistently bad playing against 10 men.

I hope we're not chasing the game tonight as there's absolutely nothing on the bench if we're looking for a goal.

The forward area definitely needs attention,van veen is our best option but we never quite know what we're going to get from him from week to week,mckinstry has shown some flashes but needs to start finding some consistency,shields for me isnt good enough and efford who I don't rate much either is injured anyway.i don't think we will see moult back so another striker and a right winger would be ideal in january.

The league is that tight that we could quite easily be battling for the top 6 just as easily as we could be battling relegation,one thing for certain though is we need to sort out our dreadful home form and this game would be the perfect time to start.

We were always going to get pumped in this game,getting some minutes into the legs is the most important thing.

It's not just because he plays for us but not giving kelly atleast 45 minutes in that game was madness,it would have been an ideal time to try him out,a game away from home to a decent side to see how he reacts to international football.gordon is number one and that's fine but are we just going to wait until he retires and then spend however long seeing who is upto the job as his replacement.

I'm sure moult will be working on his fitness over the break and hopefully with some bounce games throwing in,he will be a bit sharper for it,him like the rest of the squad need to hit the ground running after the world cup.we definitely need to be signing another striker,our options up front just won't do for the rest of the season.

After the sligo games and alexander leaving then appointing hammell,I would have been happy enough stopping for the world cup with us in 9th place.i hope we can use the break to our advantage and get players back from injury and allow hammell a bit of a breather to take stock and hopefully plan for upcoming transfer window.theres a wee bit of a gap opening up to the teams above us that we have to put right against st mirren and kilmarnock,we really need to be hitting the ground running when the play resumes.
