They cunts have a brass neck to be even appealing it but if that red card gets overturned then the game is well and truly gubbed.
-
Penney has been quality for us,hopefully we can get him signed up permanently.
-
After the hearts and utd games,we were due to give someone a right doing.
-
Let's not start making st mirren to be some sort of benchmark just cause they got a result against celtic, fair play to them but they got celtic on an off day.time will tell if hammell was the wrong choice but anybody suggesting that now after a few games is having a laugh.van veen will get double figures again which is a good return,I wasn't sure about moult coming back but his brief outings so far are reasonably promising in the fact the he actually looks quite sharp,if we can get him in the right areas he will score a few.the wide areas are still a major concern, were getting nothing from either side.
-
Decent enough showing by us,we didn't create much but we had a good shape about us when we weren't in possession.were moving in the right direction and that was another learning experience for the manager.we should definitely take confidence from that going into the cup game at home.
-
Take nothing away from st mirren as that was some result but they got celtic on a bad day, they were absolutely dire.weve been shite against them for too long and beat before the game kicks off but we rarely get them on a bad day, hopefully we see a shift in mentality for they games under hammell.
-
Other than the glasgow two,I don't get the whole city mentality as if they are games we should be fearing and expecting not much from they games,we have more than held our own against the so called city clubs in the 30 odd years I've been following us.if the day ever comes when I don't think we can beat hearts at home and go and get a result in dundee,it's the day I will jack it in all together.
-
Exactly I would fancy our chances against hearts at home and there's absolutely no reason why we can't go and get a positive result at easter road and tannadice,we've won already at pittodrie so there's nothing to fear there either playing at home.i don't expect anything against the old firm clubs but if we actually have a go at rangers then who knows, they don't look great at the back.
-
Sadly that was one of they games that come around every so often, where you completely dominate and don't pick up the win.first have we played really well and should have had the game won, second half not so much but we still did enough to win the game,we forced the ball to much in the second half.all in all that was an encouraging performance and if we can play like that most weeks at home we will win more than we lose,on another day we would have dished out a hiding.the only real concern for me was that we got very little from our wide players again.
-
Aye let's stop with the names before grizzly turns it into a full blown musical .
-
Again we don't know how moult will hold up,he could get injured tomorrow if he's involved or stay fit enough that he does us a turn while he's here, people instantly writing it off and using words like disaster are talking bollocks when the truth is we don't know how it will turn out.
-
Nobody knows how this will turn out, that's the beauty of the game of football but signing moult isn't anymore of a gamble than signing say some 20 year old striker from the english championship that's never played a first team game before.
-
Nothing will tarnish his first spell but expectations should be pretty low this time around.hes never going to be the same player or be the main man and that's fine,we don't need him to be,we needed someone to come in and provide competition and cover and if we can get even a small return in terms of goals along with van veens contribution then we will have done well out of this deal.if louis can get a lift and take confidence being back in familiar territory and get a run of games and stay fit, this could turn out not to bad for us.
-
Definitely strange this one,I get that things can go down to wire on deadline day and it can all depend on when the paperwork has been processed but surely we would know either way by this time in the day.
-
Moult incoming according to the record
-
I think when we signed aarons, that pretty much confirmed that we won't be signing snodgrass.giving the injuries hearts have picked up already, there's a decent chance he could end up there.
-
He seemed to have a bit of a patchy record with injuries before we signed him,it was always a bit of a gamble and i didn't pay off.like you I thought he looked promising early on,the game we won at pittodrie last season,he was excellent then went off injured and hardly had a kick since.best of luck to him, hopefully he can find somewhere and stay injury free.
-
We will be active before the window shuts according to hammy,he even said something could happen tonight.
-
Really professional job by us tonight, that was as comfortable as game as it gets.pity about the draw,no doubt the game will be on tele with a decent crowd so we should make a few quid if nothing else but we're at home if we have any chance of beating them that's where it will happen.
-
I'm happy enough with that,a player that can actually go past the opposition,he's definitely an upgrade on the likes of shields and efford.
-
That killie left back looked decent enough but he couldn't have asked for better opponent to be up against, shields did nothing in an attacking sense and didn't track back once, the boy will have much harder games than that.
-
I watched there game at firhill a couple of weeks ago and they were terrible but this still has the feel of a potential banana skin for us.i would like to see a couple of changes at most and get the job done and get into the next round.
-
Speaking of jack ross,I see there getting pumped again today, anything other than 3 points against them next week will be disappointing.
-
It definitely is fine margins in most games throughout the season, really poor defending has cost us against st Johnstone and then again today,we were excellent at pittodrie but still gave away two soft goals, thankfully we fell on the right side of the line that day and got a result.its small steps but I think we're moving in the right direction but we simply have to tighten up at the back,I hope today also shows that we don't need to sit off the opposition and invite pressure,we can cause plenty of problems going the other way.snodgrass would be a bonus at this stage though I don't see it happening but I think we will sign a couple of attackers whatever happens, hopefully mckinstry just missed out today and we can get him some minutes against Inverness.
