Back home and fucking gutted. Thought we were containing them reasonably well until the first goal but gave the ball away far too easily today, even from fucking throw ins. Loads of what ifs, Gunnings shot, Mastorovic hand ball. Too many important players (particularly Murph and Humph) weren't on their game or were closed down too quickly. Glad of the occasion but fucking gutted at the result. Thanks to the guys who posted the display pics !! When I called to pay (10 secs after the email came in), the bloke who answered told me they weren't finished yet (despite me being told that all emails would be out by today) so if anyone hasn't got the mails yet, there is still time. They also said there may be more tickets released, but at £35 a pop. I sincerely hope that no 'well fan misses out on this. For a lot of people this will be a first (but for the old c***s like me it's a second) Scottish Cup Final, so want to see EVERY 'Well fan who wants to be there get a ticket.

Here's my theory for what it's worth. The Tims tend to be a footballing side and so do we so we have close games and the odd win. The h**s tend to be a big physical side and we ALWAYS cave in against physical teams. The one exception to this is when McGingerbaws was in charge of us (towards the end of his reign) and we basically had no football in our team. We did relatively well against them at that point. Anyway, couldn't give a fuck what either the tims or the h**s think of us, but it makes little bits of vomit rise in my throat when I see us rolling over to the h**s the way we have been this season.

TBH, I didn't really relish the thought of playing Aberdeen in the final. All the 'Broon baggae' would have made it fuckin' unbearable had we lost to them. Now there's no baggage and a game against a team of mhanky c***s that we've already beaten this season. We'll be underdogs, but we can do it !!

He didn't get a lot of room either. I honestly think he played his part because he had one and some times two stuck to him. I think StJ were shitting it from him and that led to more space for others. In the end, most of the damage was done down Murph's wing. I think playing the two wide men AND two up front leaves us a bit short in midfield (where they dominated a lot today) and that may not work against better teams, but canny complain really :notworthy:
