Reading through P & B today and some very good posts, and some nonsense ones of course . As things stand, I reckon we'll struggle, but there's a long way to go in the transfer window, so by no means panicking. I reckon we need a RB, LB, CB, MF and goalscoring striker. That might well depend on some fringe players leaving or going out on loan of course due to budget constraints.

I don't quite get the some of the comments about Harry Paton. He had a lot of catching up to do last season and we didn't really see a lot of him. I doubt he'll be one of the top "stars" but SK obviously sees something in him. Time will tell and the jury is still out for me.

Good luck to the lad. He deserves a consistent run of games. I hope he kicks on. A great attitude.

If accurate, relatively good news. I feared it would be several months. We're now at the nadir of comings and goings - we've more or less heard of all the departures but haven't yet heard of the arrivals.

Not quite my take. I take the view that the Board, for reasons unknown, neither "backed nor sacked" GA at the start of the season. Money was held back and given to SH in January. Questions should be asked about that indecision.

Agree with you Allan and OTF. A bad idea, a very bad one. He wasn't a success as manager, didn't promote youth and his record in the Academy was ???????? Also his relationship with players?
