  1. Which member of Adam Livingstone's family came on to vote for him?
  2. Cheers. I'm sure there will be plenty of comments on Robinson next season. You might even have to add the Who Next? bit back in - hopefully not!
  3. Have to agree, the extra cash available outweighs who we could be playing against next season.
  4. There's no way we'll get well over a million for Moult.
  5. I do agree with the comment about the title needing changed. Even if the "who next? " part is removed as it doesn't reflect the topic.
  6. Giles Coke has just been released by Ipswich along with Berra.
  7. The reason Raith Rovers are being talked about is there was annumber of posters expressed a preference for Hughes when we are at the shortlist stage. The recent comments are all pointing out how poorly he did at Raith with the inference that we dodged a bullet. I'm certainly happier that we went with Robinson over Hughesand have recently been impressed by his willingness to change things during games and hope that his summer signings will allow an improvement in the style of play. That remains to be seen but obviously I want him to succeed as it means the team is doing well.
  8. That's not as scathing as this article, also from the Herald, where the Raith chairman states he was the wrong appointment as his harder approach lost the dressing room. Of course, he doesn't really blame himself for making that appointment but it's pretty damning stuff. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/15289785.Raith_Rovers_chairman_admits_club__got_more_than_they_bargained_for__when_John_Hughes_was_appointed/
  9. South Lanarkshire council didn't have a problem with selling off a huge chunk of Strathclyde Park for shopping which they tried to pass off as leisure use. Couldn't comment on the benefit to individual councillors.
  10. So now he's on promoting his app which he's developed. No, I'm not making this up!
  11. Massive pitch invasion - the SFA will be horrified!
  12. That's poor. It's not very often we sell out an allocation but when it does happen there's unfortunately a chance of this sort of thing happening. Most people I saw moved when asked as they realised there weren't spare seats for the ticket holder to move to but there are a small number of people in society who just seem to be looking for a fight even if it's with a fellow fan.
  13. Are we still seeing out the suspended sentence? Even if not we have to be careful as any indiscretion will be severely punished. It does seem as though other pitch invasions don't even get discussed.
  14. I've not been totally convinced by him but Heneghan was absolutely immense. They put a lot of balls into the box and it just seemed that he was always there to head them away. Griffiths had a great save but he also had a few flaps / coming out for balls moments that Samson would have been crucified for on here.
  15. Just home. As birthdays go that was right up there!!!
  16. I just saw Mio walking up to the ground. If only we had a few like him these days.
  17. It's the pay at the gate bit that surprises me. I can only assume they've decided sales have dried up and there won't be much demand.
  18. The ticket office told my dad that the bois had been allocated the top corner furthest away from Accies. Let's see how that works out.
  19. Is his wife Sharon the poster Legless who Tam Cowan refers to regularly (in a complimentary way)?
  20. Does the 2200 allocation include the gazebo? I assume it will be a complete free for all for seats.
  21. He got a few chances but didn't impress. What says more to me is that the management team got to see him regularly in training and for the under 20's and didn't feel tempted to try him again. I don't think he was even making the bench towards the end of his stay. For whatever reason it didn't work out for him with us but what astonishes me is that Middlesbrough are prepared to spend that sort of money on a player who has been around a few clubs and made the most impact by standing out as one of the best players at a club who have just been relegated to non - league. That doesn't seem like the way to build a team to get promotion back to the Premiership to me.
  22. I find that absolutely astonishing for so many reasons.
  23. This morning's Sun is getting in on the act as well but probably just repeating the story so they can't be seen to not be in the know.
