  1. Yup, but it's kinda symptomatic of a problem that might bite us on the arse yet. How many of the new guys would you fancy sticking in the starting 11 at a time when it needs a shake up? No exactly got many to pick from anyway, given the number who are either injured or no fit enough to play.
  2. I agreed with a guy saying this after the Killie game and was told, shut up, it's working. Getting away with it doesn't mean it's working. That defence was never gonnae be good enough to stand up to repeated pressure.
  3. Yeah, had to be one of them, but I'd probably have taken Cole off. You can appreciate why Long would feel aggrieved, he'll just need to get on with it though.
  4. And that'll be the toys oot the pram again.
  5. Any questions regarding the long term viability of this team have been answered.
  6. Never mind mumping, Alexander, get our shape sorted.
  7. Lasley's gonnae have bragging rights tonight.
  8. This inviting teams onto us and winning everything in our box is working a treat so far.
  9. I cannae even reach mine, ya big show off.
  10. A few weeks ago I'd have asked, at what end? But now the question is, what time did you start?
  11. Feck it, 4 nothing to us. Watt gets a hat-trick.
  12. Think that was a few years later. Their owner gave him a glowing reference: “He is an out-of-control womaniser, an Irishman without rules. He is someone who disappears for a week and goes on the hunt for women in Milan. “He has two families with six children, he never trains, he’s completely off the rails. On the field he’s a great player, because he gave us everything he had and more. “In terms of his behaviour, however, he is uncontrollable. My coach told me he cannot sort this player out, so he has to go.” Sounds like Lafferty was lucky to dodge a bullet.
  13. Reached double figures for Burnley, Rangers, Hearts and Palermo, despite Soccerbase showing he never played a game for them, which takes some doing. Add in 20 international goals anaw. Strikes me as a player who'll do the business, if he can be arsed - we'll see how that goes with Killie. But I don't see any of our January signings scoring more than he will.
  14. There's always a chance it could've turned round, but there's little evidence it actually would have. The players looked down and out, he admits he was done and the new signings clearly wouldn't have changed things for the better. Best thing for everyone. We stay up and get to look back at his time fondly when the shit hits the fan.
  15. Graham Alexander must be in with a shout for his vision and excellent distribution.
  16. A win puts us 11 points ahead of them, albeit they've got a game in hand. Be a huge step towards removing the possibility of automatic relegation, slight as that looks right now.
  17. Yeah, I'll happily take the 3 points, whatever the performance. Hopefully, if we can pick enough wins up, we'll have some breathing space before the end of the season and it's not do or die stuff. Be nice to see what a wee run and a bit of confidence does for some of our guys.
  18. Aye, it is, and he is, so I won't complain about that. But it would be a bit ridiculous to say we played well tonight. Be nice to pick up 3 points without the pish bit.
  19. On a side note, thank feck we don't have to witness Wright's soor coupon 38 times a season.
  20. Christ, Jock, any chance you could identify a black player correctly!
  21. The midfield is getting no protection from their manager. Overrun again.
