Well that was unnecessarily stressful, at 3-1 we should have managed that better but let’s be honest, 2 poor teams and 3 points was crucial considering the other results. i think we are safe and away from 2nd bottom now. Slattery and Watt were excellent. Another season in the top flight awaits thankfully

Please blow the full time whistle now.

He must be injured, that’s really disappointing as he’s the only player who has a bit of spark about him. Someone who could potentially turn a game. We have such a slow team, I’m not feeling it today, I’m glad I’m only paying a fiver.
-
I was just looking at the past few games, as in 2 defeats and a draw and 2 shots on target in the 3 games. we are not exactly on fire
-
If we get 3 points today, we are out the mire. I think hearts should beat Dundee and killi and county draw. if this all happens I will beathe a lot easier. however…… if we get beat it just continues our slump and the pressure adds. not looking forward to it at all if I’m honest. Who knows what team will turn up.

Declan Gallagher leaving Utd at the end of the season. Utd fans shocked as they view he’s been one of their best players this season and they wanted him re-signed. id take him back. I’ll just leave my view hanging there like a rancid fart.

Vote for the player of the year awards Goal of the Season 2024/25

I just don’t understand the Halliday love? Each to their own and all that but I think in general apart from maybe a couple of games he’s been poor. his first thought when he gets a ball is to win a foul, he spends 60mins of each game on his ar5e. He rarely creates anything, rarely pushes forward and struggles to track back. as mentioned each to their own but he’s not for me and I’d be letting him go. -

I can’t see anyone else other than Miller. He’s been a bit hot and cold all season but he’s still been our standout player and going to leave us for circa £4m. No other player is wanted by anyone. big Oxborough did quite well until his injury but if anyone else gets it that’d be a crime. It’s been an appalling season filled by dreadful individual performances. -
I’m not sure it’d be enough but I’d go: St J (H) - D Dundee (A) - L Hearts (A) - L Killie (H) - D Ross C (A) - L

Absolute blood sweat and snotters to win that first game to take some pressure off. A win in that game I think would see us ok. a defeat in that game and I think we are fkd!!
-
Hearts have the best individual players but they do look a gutless bunch very much like us. it would take quite a feat for us not to win at least one game against teams equally as poor as us in the bottom six but if any team can go 5 games without a win it’s definitely us. st Johnstone, Ross county and Dundee worry me the most, they really put up a fight and we are so weak it’s embarrassing. id be hopeful of a win (at fir park ) against Killie and a point against gutless hearts. But who knows what’ll happen.

what an absolute mess we are in when you see that list of players…. Jesus!! There’s 20 on that list and I have to agree with you. The only one I’d keep is McGinn purely because he doesn’t have a long history of injuries, the one this year is his first bad one that I can see he’s had in his career. I like wee Paton and Davor as they do give their all but it’s probably not enough to make up for their limitations. the rest of them, yip, I’ll wish them goodbye and all the best.

I just want to avoid rugby park, that’d be a bonus. A trip to Dingwall on the last day of the season knowing we were safe I wouldnt mind that either.
-
We are where we deserve. these final games are going to be tense, we need one more win and a draw I think to avoid 2nd bottom.
-
It’s all still up for grabs, we showed a bit more urgency in the last 10mins. Keep it up and we might just get something from this.

I actually quite enjoy watching Rangers and Celtic in Europe and I tend to hope they do ok for the sake of Scottish football etc (even tho some folk on here say I hate them more than I love Motherwell) in saying that, I do draw the line with them actually winning a tournament in Europe, that’d be a step too far for me. Both of them Falling at the final hurdle is something I quite enjoy. And if their fans happen to drink toilet water to hydrate that’s just an added bonus.

I don’t mind Kelly at all, I think he did us a favour by signing an extension for us during the Euros last year so we got money as a club. Good on him, wish him the best even if he does play for that mob. as for Rice, I have zero interest in him.
-
Finally something is said we can all agree on. It’s hard to believe we’ve amassed as many points as we have, it’s been eye bleeding stuff. I just hope we can hang in until the end of the season and avoid the play offs. clear out the dung and start fresh.
-
I actually think this as well. I’m not sure why I just don’t see him as a long term Motherwell manager. I hope I’m wrong and I hope we win on Saturday and stay in the top 6 and he stays but just something is niggling away thinking he won’t be. The fact his family aren’t coming over worries me, family is the main thing for people and if things don’t go well they are the first people to help you out. I know Alexander’s family and Mcghees were both down south but that was just a few hours in the car or an hours flight, the ar5e end of Germany is a big trickier to make a quick trip to see his young kids.
-
Dundee 2 up now. I have to admit I did feel they are a better side than their league table suggests, they also have something we don’t have, a striker who scores goals.
-
How long do you consider “short term” I’ve been in short term pain for about 6yrs
-
You sure you are not in the littlest bit concerned? The past few performances do not give me any form of confidence. That second goal is something an under 12 side would be embarrassed to concede.
-
At no point am I blaming Wimmer on this as he’s been left in charge of the jolly boys outing, but why on earth is Taswanhise not involved here? He’s been the one creative spark this season. He must be appalling at training.
-
That’s bold. I’d be happy if they were all correct
-
They will be the team in the play off, I have no doubt about it. And if we have to face them with this team of loanees and out of contract players, on another terrible plastic park we are in serious bother.
