I’d love to be proved wrong but I just don’t see it. They don’t hold the ball up well, they seem to lack any awareness or vision. They seem to actively find the least dangerous position to be in box and at no point when they get the ball do I feel that anything is going to happen.

In my 50+ years watching motherwell I’m struggling to think of a worse front two than Bair and Shaw. There’s been some shockers in the past too.

I feel fortunate that I am watching this in the house loaded wi man flu. I feel for our supporters traveling through there, terrible weather, plastic park and paying a fortune to sit and watch this dross. And it was dross prior to going to 10 men.

To be fair it was one of the few things in his book I believed. I think he was trying to be tactful as well without saying he didn’t like Davies. Nevin did love talking up his responsibility on things like youth development, which I very much believe he played little part in and deflecting player negotiations and wages to other people, which I pretty much believe he had a huge part and responsibility in.

I read Nevin’s book and I couldn’t help but feel Davies sounds like a guy who thrives on thinking everyone is against him and there are conspiracies everywhere surrounding him…… so Rangers sounds an ideal fit.🤣 In saying that, I’m not sure what you can expect in the way of truth and accuracy from mr pat nevin.

I see McKinstrey is still to find a new club but wants to return to Scotland. That’s the only thing that’s confused me under Kettlewell’s reign as McKInstrey was probably the only shining light other than van veen under the previous regime. I thought he was a potentially great wee player. I’d have thought he’d try and accommodate him somewhere in the side rather than just dropping him completely.

Ollie Shaw is like the ghost of John Hendry do refs give lundstrum a 10 foul free pass before he gets booked. Disgraceful

Exactly this. I totally get how difficult it will be being the lone striker at ibrox but he’s there to do a job, hold up the ball and if he gets a chance at least try and take it. He’s not doing any of that. I really don’t see any major upgrade with Theo bair compared to Efford. Who I didn’t rate much either. We now have shaw on now too. Oh well

So frustrating. Clearly we are the better team, playing better stuff. Deflected shot lands in the back of our net. I think we are cursed against this mob.

A tough watch and a non deserved defeat. We were the better team and played better football and had the majority of the game. Just missing a bit of creation and ended up with just hopeful crosses into the box which were food and drink to the st mirren defence. still sitting 3rd… on to the next game

Not to tempt fate here but we have been playing some good stuff, just not really looking like scoring but we still look more dangerous than st mirren. Odonnell playing well as is slattery.

I’m utterly shocked he was one of our top earners. Who signed off on that contract? Apart from maybe two games I never saw anything in the guy. I’ve no doubt he is a model pro, hard worker, general good guy but as a player his limitations were there for everyone to see. Good luck to joe but well played sk on saving us some money by getting shot of him.

As much as at times I get a bit bored of the management buzzword stuff and the football psychology chat from kettlewell, I think it’s fair to say he’s doing a quite incredible job, he deserves so much credit and has taken a basic no frills squad and is working wonders with them. Frail, foster and Alexander deserve some plaudits too. outstanding stuff!!! The only manager we’ve had who I can think of that has transformed a poor team into winners was Davie Hay. top of the league…. Get in there

Another left back 😞 he seems to be a decent prospect the lad but again it’s a loan deal. the boy Wilson looked better than soare and definitely better than mcginley. I’d have liked to have seen him get some time on the park, I’d hate to see this boy farmed out like Max Johnson was.

I see him going to a mid table championship team. I think he’d do well for a team like Millwall or QPR. Type of player their fans would like as well.

I really do not know what to make of that game at all. Terrible and brilliant. that’s a proper important win today. Sitting top of league is hysterical. Long may it continue.

He seemed to do ok when he was playing but I saw he tended to be dropped to the bench for bigger games or games against teams whose midfielders were more mobile. I’d love to see him play too but I think it’ll be few and far between. I think mid table championship is his level which is no slur on him at all, I doubt there’s any current spl midfielder who could perform in the English top league.

I like wee Campbell but he’s never in a million years a premiership player.

I’m quite disappointed and a bit deflated with that team. Time will tell I suppose

Does anyone know if the club has plans to introduce a pay at the gate /tap/chip pin facility. I tried to buy tickets for myself and kids for Sundays game and the online function seemed to be down, it also didn’t allow a family ticket option online? Well I didn’t see it anyway. It just seems incredibly stupid that outwith rangers and celtic games (that I understand )we are missing out on last minute fans coming to the game, which I know are many, including a lot of pensioners who aren’t that “up” on online systems and it’s putting them off attending. Standing for 35mins to get tickets from the office on a game day isn’t acceptable. I know this has been brought up before but I really don’t see any knock on problems with this?
