As far as what I heard Welsh was told 2 days before he was recalled back that he was allowed to stay at Motherwell for the rest of the season. Motherwell were told this and then told he was getting recalled. I think it’s more of doing the dirty on the player rather than us. Just a poor way to treat someone who ultimately isn’t wanted by their parent club. but as mentioned above, I’d much prefer a permanent CB to be signed and is OUR player rather than loan deals. Then O’Neil came back and I’m assuming he said bring him back and let’s decide after the 14th.
