The sooner this season is over, and the clear out taken place, the better. I believe that we’ve signed too many players that have already been carrying some sort of injury.🤬
Orinoco
Do we have a medicine and sports science department? If we do then a review is needed. Far to many injuries. Mind you, since he arrived Blaney seldom plays a run of games before being injured. As for Nicholsen. Think his career is gone now. Risky signing that's not worked out. When the going gets tough it seems it's easy to get injured.
wellsince75
I can't believe we gave Nicholson a 2 year contract. He hardly kicked a ball for us last season, to give him 2 years is wasteful. Think Stuparevic is also contacted until '26. Another player hasn't seen the light of day. Thankfully Barney is out of contract end of this season, that should be the end of his time.   Got to say out of the dozen or so who are injured there's really only Ox, McGin, Stam that impact starting 11. So many poor signing choices , appreciate a couple of the injuries were hard to foresee but many of them are not surprising.
Spit_It_Out
Pound for pound the worst stack of transfers in the history of the football club and let's not forget a fair few of these guys had a track record of Injuries before they signed. But this is what happens when you buy cheap and cheerful you end up buying twice! Â

I think where we are right now, that talking about tactics and formations etc. is a complete waste of time. Those picked to play against Dundee should be told that their job is a straightforward one - go out, put in a shift and win the f*cking game because they owe it to the club and the fans. I said this a wee while back but my biggest fear isn't who the new manager would be, but the fact that what they have to work with just isn't good enough. Previously when a manager had been replaced mid season they have at least had a squad of a decent enough standard to play with, this time around we are asking Wimmer to polish a turd.

weeyin
A customer from Colorado I work with is Mexican. He knows I'm a Motherwell supporter and told me last week he was a Dundee fan now thanks to the 2 Mexicans that joined them in January, and was looking forward to this game. Not my best anecdote, but true nonetheless.

Sacrifice I am prepared to take ahead of major reboot in the summer....or should that be Das Boot!!🤣 Though I would happily take a turn of fortunes and pushing for top

wellfan
Looking at the bottom half of the league table, as well as considering recent form and events, this game could not be any more of a six pointer. Anything less than a victory will only worsen the death spiral.

A win gives the new manager some breathing space to figure things out and keeps us in touch with the top 6. It really couldnt be any more important.
