Absolute joke.

Serious, SERIOUS questions need to start being asked about our recruitment of players and/or our training methods.

This is not down to bad luck.

It's been pretty average for preseason. If it was still SK level, I'd be worried.

Every team in our league have player injuries.  If we start to get to Kettlewell level injuries in training then would be the time to ask questions.

Maybe the players need a longer holiday to recover and pre season to get back up to speed, rather than a rushed return.

The league cup groups certainly don't help. Teams are having to start the season early, start and stop their training routines so they have the energy to play games when they aren't fully fit and, come the start of the season, they are a few weeks away from where they need to be.

What's it down to then, are you seriously suggesting that Motherwell as a professional football team are implementing training policies / procedures that are injuring its players or deliberately signing players that are injured?

If I was making a career defining move, Tam is certainly the first person I'd tell.

Of course not. But Im sure he has contacts at the club. Is anyone really believing the Miller is injured stuff?

If a deal wasnt close then that wouldnt be happening.....

Really?

An entirely new management team, a young player from a top academy, and this is your take?

If we get several more similar injuries in the coming weeks you might have a point, but at the moment its an isolated incident.

I don't agree. Last year it was all Kettlewells fault and training methods and now someone else is injured - players get injured. It's part of the sport. Speculation really isn't helpful and does the club no good.

I don’t know, that’s why I am asking the question and would like others within the club to ask that same question and look at our training methods, facilities etc.

Because I refuse to believe that having so many players picking up injuries that result in lengthy layoffs is simply down to bad luck and anyone who thinks that it is is kidding themselves on.

Yes players get injured. But that’s not my point and not my issue.

It is the AMOUNT of injuries that we pick up and the LENGTH OF TIME that they are then out for that is the issue here. It’s been going on now for too long and happened to too many players now for it simply to be shrugged off with “players get injured”.

I wasn't trying to shrug it off. I just don't agree with you. I don't want to see any player injured either - we won't get a response on this either - no one from Motherwell fc is going to come out and tell fans why players are picking up injuries. I also don't think I'm kidding myself on - I'm expressing an opinion the same way you are

They don’t have to tell us what the problem is, you’re right about that. But if there is one then I want to see them sort it out because I’m sick reading the words “speedy recovery” on our social media platforms about whoever the latest lengthy injury is about.

Listen - I do get that and I also think the club should have said what the injury is.

Just get them to change it to 'get well soon'...though I doubt that would be enough to put your gas at a peep

Every other player that has been injured - the club has said what the issue is

Maybe every other player was cool with it...maybe Sule wants to keep it private, maybe they're waiting on results, maybe there is some dubiety over what is wrong, maybe west brom have told motherwell not to report it
