He wasn’t saying that in the first half? Changes like the wind!!

I heard him on radio start of 1st half and he sounded like an old dinosaur along with derek ferguson. 2 of them are typical downbeat on anything new and especially from a foreigner.

I was also impressed by our counter attacking today, as Well as our general play. Thought we were quick and dangerous when breaking but just couldn’t finish or get final ball. I still think Stama will come good, just needs to sharpen up a bit. Remember he’s been out for a while but I do agree  that we need to sign another striker anyway.
Thought Sparrow should have taken shot with his left foot although Butler still did have to pull Off a decent save.

What a difference when you've a manager with a vision, a plan and the knowledge of how to implement it. I'll back any gaffer we bring in but that's a different level entirely today. We were magnificent to a man and I couldn't believe we found ourselves behind at half time. I'm actually disappointed we only drew in the end. Early days but the signs are good. COYW!!

However, I will say that I was close to having heart attack on a few occasions playing out from the back 😳 but it was delightful to watch (after it worked) we did cause ourselves a few issues with bad/misplaced passes from time to time but recovered well. I suppose we will have to live with that playing the way JBA wants but hopefully those mistakes will become fewer as we get better.

Thoroughly enjoyed that in the end. Our powderpuff efforts at goal were frustrating but we cut through Rangers at ease and if we had a prime Theo in the team, we’d have won with a comfortable margin.

Don’t want to get carried away as there are obvious weaknesses that need to be addressed but there is also obvious potential in our signings. St Mirren away will likely prove a sterner test but if we match today’s endeavour, we shouldn’t be far away from a result.

Interesting few weeks ahead I suspect with incomings and outgoings.

Wow  just wow! More considered thought later.

Thats a bit how I feel. That was thoroughly entertaining. I loved that game today. Although my heart was having palpitations in the last 8 mins.  The team stuck to the blue print from start to finish. I know it was a daft goal to lose but every team will lose those. Our response was magnificent. We had them in knots at times.  A bit more composure in the box and we could have done them over. Sure we still need to strengthen but I'm not singling anyone out tonight for any critical comment the manager will know what needs done  but they all deserve enormous credit for that tonight.  Not having to suffer punt and rush and the inevitable continual lose of possession that creates is like a breath of fresh air.

On a separate note that was an excellent Motherwell crowd tonight, just short of 6000 Motherwell fans, and I think its the first time we've had a crowd exceed 10500 since helicopter Sunday. I'm sure some stato will keep us right.  Would be great if they'd keep coming back.

You might be right but I would imagine the panathonikos game might beat it, im sure was a sell out with the exception of the section below the away fans.

There was one sequence of play, I think while it was still 0-1, we Played out from the 6 yard box, right through the middle of the 18 yard box and out through the arc with Rangers players all around us. I’m pretty sure I said WTF at least 3 times and swore again in relief and delight at our football and that we didn’t gift a goal to Rangers. I may have to watch a replay of the game to better appreciate some our play as I was too busy having heart attacks at the time to fully appreciate it.

That was a really impressive second half performance from us and doing it without lennon into the bargain, the prospect of a few million coming in and the manager still wanting some new faces,it's early days but there's some really positive signs.
