Totally deserved win and a great goal to clinch it.

Off to Hampden for the second season running. Our year? It could well be.

Finally, Get it right up Aberdeen and their obnoxious supporters.

Did you not bookmark a defeat for us last week? Lol

great win but I found that a hard watch, much harder watch than anything this season.

superb though, a semi final and hopefully a couple of players back to fitness by then. I really hope it’s st Mirren

I’d prefer Partick Thistle. 😉

This could genuinely be our best chance to win the League Cup. Celtic are way below par, Hearts already out, Hibs (hopefully) out against Rangers tonight and (if not) Rangers in absolute disarray. And we owe St.Mirren big time in a knockout cup tie!

Struggled a bit because of how Aberdeen sat high, but sat off to try and avoid us playing through.

Would have probably been easier with Just who is quite dynamic, but we figured it after about 24 mins.

More than enough chances  to win.

Welsh is very good.

Ap Stam good at hold up etc, but needs to score again today.

RCC coming on to a game.

O'Donnell was perfectly good again.

Brilliant result, thought it was the poorest we’ve played but still created chances and still deserved to win! What a goal to win it as well. Stama should have put the game to bed before that last 10/15 mins.

Just seen the score and stats. Brilliant result. Only 41% possession. Is that right? Also Aberdeen 16 fouls, 2 booked to our 6 fouls and 3 booked. Ref at it?

Given our increasing injury list that is a good result, with clean sheet. Confidence can only grow.

Now we need to batter them at Fir Park.

Good summary and I think it’s a good sign that we managed to still play decent against a team who obviously done their homework and set up to not allow us to play but yet we still managed to play our game.
I think we are only going to get better the more games we play and when we get to full strength.

Osong's a youngster who has only had a handful of first team appearances in the lower leagues. I'd have been more surprised if he had a seamless transition into the first team.

He may or may not be any good, but I'd imagine it will be easier to judge later in the season. (Can you spend 8 years coming through the ranks at a team like Nottingham Forest while being shite?)

Good to see we are writing players off after a handful of minutes though. It's a fine Motherwell tradition.

Still need a keeper imo,  ward is not the long term solution

So close to punching that ball into his own net, he then feigned an injury out of embarrassment. It is a tad concerning

anyway…. That’s enough of me moaning…. Delighted we are at Hampden again, I can’t see JBA shitt1in the nest like kettlebell did last year.

Stam is who we have, and until Hendry, Robinson, Sule and Stuparevic come back from injury or the transfer window opens, we might as well accept his good points and hope he clicks in front of goal.

Our other option is shoehorning wingers into the 9 position, which just won't work.

It was an excellent win and a guttsy performance with some of our best players missing, so maybe we shouldn't dwell on the negatives.

And on a big Hampden pitch it hopefully suits us
