I guess you never seen the game

Correct i didn't see the game, but as we won 1 - 0 and Stamatelopoulos was not named as the scorer i probably guessed correctly that he huffed and puffed but contributed feck all as usual.

How many games can we keep saying its OK he nearly scored, or he is looking good better, before we realise that the fundamental issue is that he is not that good and not up to the standard required for the premiership.

All i would say dude it's a bit like saying we got a clean sheet so ward must have been good....which wasn't convincing,  a ropey pass in first half and a terrible punch 2nd half which nearly cost us.

But,  it's great we all have different views and keep it healthy.   I love  this forum

Totally deserved win and a great goal to clinch it.

Off to Hampden for the second season running. Our year? It could well be.

Finally, Get it right up Aberdeen and their obnoxious supporters.

”Alexa…play BBC Radio Scotland”

Do you think we have a chance in rhe semi final?

Would happily take rangers or st mirren.  JBA will go in with no fear, unlike SK and that disastrous 2nd half last season in semi

True. We will have a go and don't have a player like Tavares. Would take st Midden Patrick thistle or h**s. Celtic beatable too 👍

Thought we started slowly today. Probably the poorest Ive seen us this season.

However, we were solid defensively and grew into the game.

Despite it being a fairly even first half, I felt we had the best of the chances and shoulda gone in at the break in the lead.

JT was unlucky to hit the woodwork and Stama had a very good effort cleared of the line. Said and Fadinger should have both done better with their chances.

Second half we were in control of the game, scored a great goal and shoulda put the game to bed. Stama has 2 very good chances and shoulda done better with the header in particular.

Really pleased to get the win and a pretty good performance considering our injuries. We now have another big game to look forward to and some more cash in the bank.

The JBA train is still coming down the tracks!

You forgot to mention chance that Stama laid on a plate for RCC in the first half also.

Jeez! I forgot about that!

Absolutely! Great chance.

If Stama misses that he gets slaughtered!

What should we do?

Unless something changes, and nothing we’ve seen suggests it will, he needs to be replaced at the first opportunity with someone who gives us a proper centre forward threat and goals.

Spot on with that but as that wont happen till the January transfer window it will be more of the same.

I'd love to be proved wrong with Stamatelopoulos but hes showing no signs of that happening.

The January transfer window is the first real chance. Until then, we can only hope he proves many of us wrong. Otherwise, the next few months will continue to be frustrating for both him and us as his stock as a striker falls.

Wish I'd had the option of a semi on my stag do.

😂😂 Me and my mate got a two hour dispensation to watch the game. If you could have seen the looks of folk when me and him jumping about the pub like 5 year olds singing "oh Motherwell, oh Motherwell is wonderful.." Perfect start, now for day two and a liver transplant tomorrow...

OH MOTHERWELL, OH MOTHERWELL..... IS WONDERFUL.

With the quality we have in the team and a little bit of luck I could see us winning the cup.  The OF are as poor as I can remember and realistically no team to fear.     I'm not saying it's likely but it's certainly possible and I really don't care who we get in the semi final, id rather face the OF in a semi than in a final tbh.

Re needing other strikers , this is where we all see the game differently.  We have more than enough forward players in our ranks.  As for AP I don't think he's playing poorly, I more see a guy who's lost confidence.   He did well yesterday to square it for RCC and had a very good then a very poor header.

He just needs a couple of goals to get going.  He also needs better service. Appreciate not everyone see's it this way but that's the beauty of football and these forums.
