SteelmaninOZ
Another win against the Dons? Always a wee worry when you beat a team in a cup game and play that team next in the league. Will Stama score in this one? COYW

fizoxy
This will be an interesting one. This is our first opportunity to play a team for a second time. Will we make adjustments to counteract how aberdeen handled us, or will they figure us out? Aberdeen disrupted our playing out from the back, and hit us on the counter really well, they were just toothless in front of goal. They have Utd before us, so it's possible that we won't see Thelin at fir park. What is it with dogshit managers winning cups?

joewarkfanclub
I didnt think we could win both games, and we might not still. But I was greatly enthused with how we were able to control the game second half today despite Aberdeen throwing the kitchen sink at us and us not having that strong a bench. Hopefully we will have McGinn and Hendry back next week. Just would be a bonus. We need a league win and now have the muscle memory to know it can be done. mio
This will be the 15th game in under JBA and incredibly we’ve lost one game and that was the first friendly v Twente. hard to believe we’ve won and drawn every other game. Not that I want to get too carried away but I doubt very much any manager in our history has went 13 games without defeat. let’s hope for a win on Saturday to really kick on our league campaign.

Our longest unbeaten run is 30 games (according to Wikipedia), so I suspect at least one of them has.

He did stop on multiple occasions to smell his own farts.
johnstone
We certainly won’t fear them. We controlled large chunks of the game up north. Thelin looked a bit shell shocked in the interviews after the match. No doubt freaking out that he has us again next week and defeat will probably lose him his job. Jym Bob
I thought Hearts and Aberdeen fully tested our new expansive, attractive game and we came out with a draw and a win. I hope that on Sat we will continue on our improvement and come away with a solid victory. COYW
MelvinBragg
I think it says something about the strength of squad at the minute that even after the levels of his performance against Hearts, Just doesn't automatically walk back into the team for Saturday if he’s available. Doesn't feel at the moment that we need to take too many risks by rushing players back. Same will apply to McGinn and Hendry (and Slattery in a couple of weeks)... As to how we'll go this Saturday? In this situation with two non Old Firm teams playing each other two weeks in a row, you generally say one team doesn't win both. I'm not so sure. The aforementioned potential return of Just, Hendry and McGinn will keep the players on the pitch from relaxing too much...

Koutrombis started well but he now needs to earn his place back as SOD has upped his game and been really good so far.

texanwellfan
The other take from the posts above are that whichever team starts we have very decent players on the bench to sub on and maintain the level of performance. I think Said is benefitting greatly from all the playing time he is getting at the moment and might even retain his inclusion in starting line ups. Fergie79
I thought it was interesting that JBA did call out Just as one of the best players so pretty sure he will be back in when fit, plus he has great assists stats already
