 I think we will with big crowd for a midweek game 2-1 to the Steelmen.

Big test against one of the form teams in the league.

It would be a statement result if we could beat them and re-inforce the feeling that our league position should be better than it is (albeit still more than adequate).

Might need to refresh a little given we are playing Sat/Tues/Sat so would expect to maybe see Stama, Just and RCC from the start. Maybe SOD featuring at some point.

Thankfully the squad is in a decent place right now and some rotation is possible without necessarily weakening us.

Need a strong street wise referee. Does such a thing exist?

Certain Hibs players like a dive in and around opponents box. So we need to be extra careful not to dangle legs or jump in. 

They are also quite direct. 

We have struggled against them home and away. Going to be a hard game.  We need to be clinical and have abit of luck. 

Going to be interesting.

I know I am getting ahead of myself but if we could win our next two games and Jambos lose at Aberdeen today we are just 6 points behind Hearts , we join the title race 😁😉

Looking forward to this one. Will just be nice to have a home game, and on grass too.

A draw wouldn't surprise me, but if we be a little more clinical we might edge a win.

Hibs have a very good record at Fir Park, it could go either way, Hibs are capable of being absolute pish or pretty decent.

I have a feeling this will be a really good game. I’ll be going along to this looking for a win and I’d love to beat Hearts on Saturday as well seeing as their wheels are now coming off the bogey as expected. They were rank rotten today against Aberdeen and they played like a traditional McInnes side.

I am more confident of getting a result against Hearts now than I was before today's game

Traditionally when a club outwith both Glasgow teams are top of the league like a Hearts or Aberdeen,  they usually have a great run followed by a really poor run

A positive result against Hibs of course first is what is required

This is going to be a tough game. Hibees are a good side so we need to be on top of our game

Think I’d start Hendry again to soften them up a bit and then Stama coming on for the last 20/30 mins unless Hendry is having an outstanding game. 
start Just and replace him, when he starts to tire, with Said. 
let’s see what JT turns up amd replace him with RCC if needed. 
Encourage our full backs to get crosses in early for Hendry.

I actually thought that Stama did well when he came on at the weekend and looked sharper and quicker than he has done? Maybe his injury that he’s been having bother with has cleared up or he’s been at a sprint coach or something but I’d play him from the start. I still think he’s a better and cleverer player than Hendry.

i was glad also that he took the penalty away from Maswanhise. Showed confidence and belief that’s he’s the striker, he’s the penalty taker.

i was glad also that he took the penalty away from Maswanhise. Showed confidence and belief that’s he’s the striker, he’s the penalty taker. 

There may be a player there but he needs to start scoring goals from open play to convince people that there is.

For me i think he is anonymous in a lot of games and never seems to make any significant contributions, not that the penalties have not been significant and important, but he needs to do more to win his doubters over

Noticed at the time they had a quick chat about it, would be interesting to know what they said. (But I'm glad he took it too.)

I know what you mean but I do think he’s been carrying an injury, I thought his movement was significantly better on Saturday. Outwith his penalties his other goals are proper strikers goals. There is a good player there, it may just be he’s not suited to our style of play and I think that’s the same for Hendry, unless it’s going to take a bit of time for strikers to get used to it? I have a feeling he’ll start tomorrow

Exactly, it doesn’t matter who scores as long as WE do. 
im ok with either starting but I do think we ask our centre forward to do a lot of work so I would anticipate that one starts amd one finishes. 
when we make that switch could depend on a few things, getting tired, the score, how well they are playing, knocks etc.

Maswanhise seemed to celebrate the goal more than Stamatelopolous did so I don't think he was too put out.

Haven seen much of how Hibs play this season but assuming they will try to attack which probably suits us better than if they were to sit in and hit us on the break. If they adopt that approach then hopefully we get an early Goal or two so they have to play a bit more open.
